At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende im Monte Naturivo! Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten wunderschöner Natur und ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Alles war absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt – man merkt, wie viel Liebe hier in jedes Detail gesteckt wird. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom tollen Pool, dem entspannenden Hamam und dem wunderschönen Yoga-Raum – ideal zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Monte Naturivo ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort, den wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können.

Just retuned from a 1 week stay at the Cassita! Lovely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and plenty to do if you’re happy to drive. Our two children loved the pool too. Kila was very responsive and friendly and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thanks again.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Dit huisje met zwembad (én jacuzzi!) bovenop de berg in Coín is echt een paradijs. Ideaal voor een ontspannende gezinsvakantie. De weg ernaartoe is wel pittig, maar eens je dat gewoon bent, is dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada, …

We hebben een paar heerlijke dagen gehad in deze prachtige vakantiewoning! De ligging is adembenemend, omringd door mooie routes en charmante stadjes. Het zwembad was echt een pluspunt – rustig, privé en perfect om te ontspannen. De buitenruimte met de barbecue was geweldig en we hebben er volop van genoten. De woning was van alle gemakken voorzien en voelde direct als een fijne plek om tot rust te komen. Miguel was een attente en prettige host. Door een grote, onverwachte stroomuitval in Spanje moesten we helaas iets eerder vertrekken vanwege belangrijke communicatieverplichtingen – dit lag absoluut niet aan de woning of de host. Voor lange Nederlanders zoals wij waren de bedden net iets aan de korte kant, maar verder hebben we heerlijk geslapen. Een plek die we zeker aanbevelen en waar we met veel plezier aan terugdenken

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

José was an amazing host, always responsive and the villa was unbelievable. The views were incredible and everything matched the pictures so perfectly but was even more spacious than we thought. Would come back again and recommend to anyone 100%

Una casa muy bonita, espaciosa para un grupo de amigos para disfrutar de la naturaleza, muy limpia y ordenada.

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Our Family loved our time:)

Ein Kleinod mitten in den Hügeln umgeben von Natur. Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach wunderbar. Man hat einen 360 Grad Rundumblick. Der Pool ist vorne flach und hinten 2 Meter tief so dass man problemlos reinspringen kann. Das Areal bietet viele Sitz - Liegeplätze zum verweilen. Das Haus ist entzückend im spanischen Stiel gebaut und sehr sauber. Es fehlt an nichts, ob elektrischen Orangenentsafter, Kaffemashcine usw. Ist alles nötige vorhanden. ÜberGewürze, Alufolie, Shapoo, Duschgel, Mülltüten, Toilettenpapier, Handtücher alles war in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden wir mussten nichts kaufen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Stadt Colin ist 5 km entfernt. Dort findet man eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Supermärkten was wir auch zu schätzen wussten. Jesus ist ein sehr netter, zuvorkommender Vermieter der sofort bei jeglichen Problemen oder Fragen verfügbar ist und Abhilfe leistet. Danke Jesus für so ein schöne Zeit in deinem Haus.

I can't recommend this place enough. The owner was beyond helpful and friendly. The pool is big and clean, and the place itself spacious enough to hold a lot of people. The photos don't do the place justice, it's absolutely stunning, sorrounded by nature and perfect to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. The views are breathtaking. There's no AC, but it's built to withstand the hot weather so it wasn't an issue. We stayed for 3 months without any issues and had a wonderful time, will definitely visit again.

Wir waren vier Tage in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Das Dorf ist abgelegen und nur über eine holprige Straße erreichbar. Dafür ist man in einem wunderschönen Wandergebiet und hat ein tolles Haus fernab vom Trubel. Gleich nebenan ist ein kleines Restaurant mit netten belgischen Inhaber. Es ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Insgesamt große Empfehlung.

This place is incredible. I can't recommend it highly enough. Honestly one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. The apartment itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing. Just a few minutes drive from Pampaneira and other towns in the Alpujarra. The views from the apartment were stunning. We were in the mood to relax, so we spent a lot of time at the pool, which was just perfect. Fran was an amazing host. Communicated clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. He was also just a really cool guy. The driveway was a bit steep, which was hard for our small, manual rental car, but it ended up working out fine. I definitely plan to stay here again!

I cannot recommend Catalina as a host, highly enough. Her place is spotless, beautifully, decorated, and practical. It has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom to the living room , to the bedroom. It is a peaceful, beautiful, serene place to stay So much so that I often did not want to leave it. Catalina is extremely responsive as a host and anticipates all of your needs. As a host myself, I appreciate all of her efforts and recommend her place very highly.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het appartement (studio) aan het zwembad. Smaakvol ingericht, waarin alles aanwezig is om te kunnen genieten van een zorgeloze vakantie. Wat een heerlijk verblijf! De communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf verliep erg soepel, snel en prettig. We werden bij aankomst op de afgesproken plek opgewacht door Gert & Bruno, vanwaar zij ons begeleidden naar de hoger gelegen locatie waar we van Gert een rondleiding over het terrein kregen. Wat een service! En bij bovenkomst, wat een prachtig uitzicht. Bij aankomst lag een fles bubbels koud, kregen eitjes van hun eigen kippen en kwarteltjes alsmede citroenen die goed van pas kwamen voor in de salade en in de Vermouth. Gert heeft ons mooie tips gegeven wat te kunnen ondernemen in de omgeving o.a. voor onze trip naar Malaga. En wat hebben we genoten van de vier lieve hondjes met ieder een eigen karakter. We hebben ons heel erg thuis gevoeld. Dank voor de flexibiliteit en fijne tijd in jullie pardijs!

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, this is the place. Incredible view.....exactly like the picture. Easy day trips to Ronda, Frigilliana, Nerja & Granada. Maria was very responsive and gave us loads of recommendations upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Atalaya. The house, the grounds, the view, the location - seclusion and good walks nearby: all divine. Did not want to leave!

Simplemente fantástico, justo lo que estaba buscando, a la casa no le faltaba detalle, súper cómoda, limpia, mucha tranquilidad, los anfitriones estaban pendientes y respondían rápido, muy recomendable.

Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Maria en Oliver. Ze zijn vriendelijk, gastvrij en heel behulpzaam, en hebben goede tips voor restaurants en uitstapjes. Het appartement is mooi ingericht, met een fijne keuken, een bbq en goede bedden. Er stond zelfs vers fruit (deels uit eigen tuin) en een fles wijn op ons te wachten bij aankomst! Een leuke verrassing. Het privé-terras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht en er is een schoon en fijn zwembad om lekker in af te koelen. Je kunt gebruik maken van de prachtige tuin, die nu (begin mei) prachtig in bloei stond (olijf-, avocado-, citroen- en sinaasappelbomen, bloemen…). We hebben vanuit het appartement een dag Granada bezocht, dat is goed aan te rijden. Ook hebben we gewandeld en de mooie bergdorpjes van de Alpajurra bezocht, én in de Middelandse zee gezwommen. Wij hebben afgelopen week echt genoten van ons verblijf in dit kleine paradijs, en komen graag nog een keer terug.

We had a truly special stay at José Enrique’s place. The location is peaceful and secluded, yet absolutely beautiful. The private pool and the stunning view made every day feel like a retreat. The house is thoughtfully equipped, with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and excellent cleanliness throughout. We especially appreciated the mosquito screens – a small detail that made a big difference. Privacy is guaranteed, and yet the warm, family-like care from José Enrique and his team made us feel incredibly welcome. The outdoor area is a dream: a proper BBQ spot with both fire and electric grill, perfect for relaxing evenings. This place is ideal for anyone seeking comfort, peace, and a personal touch. We’d return in a heartbeat!
