Holiday rentals with a patio in Peradeniya

The villa is truly amazing! Newly renovated, beautiful inside and outside design, very clean - everything was just perfect! The outside spaces are green and quiet, nevertheless it’s just a 15 min walk into the city center and to Kandy lake. The manager, housekeepers and owners were always available for any request and super friendly and nice. Delicious breakfast is included and served on the villa terrace. It’s really the perfect place to stay with a group of family or friends and we can 100% recommend it!

Our stay in Mountain Breeze was perfect! Shenuka and her son kindly picked us up from the bus and warmly welcomed us to their place with a lovey drink. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable, with good AC and en-suite bathrooms. The area felt very secure and safe. The hosts went above and beyond, helping us to organise a day tour around Kandy. This was brilliant and covered all the main sights for a great price. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the area! Thank you Shenuka!

We had a lovely stay at Indy’s place, just for a night but hoping to come back and stay longer. The property is absolutely stunning and gives you the perfect modern rustic vibe , the kitchen is stunning and the morning sun rays peeking through are breath taking. Kavinda the caretaker was very helpful and was always available. Definitely recommend staying here for a couple days to soak in the home.

Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Nächte verbracht. Wir konnten hier unseren Urlaub auf der Insel perfekt starten. Die Eltern des Gastgebers waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und haben uns immer weitergeholfen. Personen, die keinen Lärm beim Schlafen möchten sollten jedoch eine andere Unterkunft wählen, da es auch in der Nacht sehr laut sein kann.

This place is ideal if you want a break from the city. The caretaker-cum-cook, Udaya, is very efficient and helpful. He has joined here quite recently but you wouldn't know it given his familiarity with the place and his way of handling any requests. The hosts are extremely helpful and responsive. Although Rajeev was travelling abroad and Sharmini was in Colombo, they kept in touch over with us to ensure we were comfortable. Kandy is about 30 minutes away. The last kilometre or so of the road to get here is very narrow but the road quality is good (there *is* a rough stretch just before the property but it is barely 100 metres). We had a power cut on our last day there that lasted for a long time. (This is apparently unusual, and it is true we didn't face any disruption during the earlier two days we were there.) While it was inconvenient, the emergency lights that are there in each bedroom helped a lot. Udaya whipped up a full dinner for us despite the power cut.

It’s very rare to come across such a special Airbnb like this one. Although the apartment itself is well designed and has a stunning view that pictures can’t do justice—it’s really the hospitality of Kunil and his family that was the biggest highlight of my stay. Kunil was incredibly helpful in sharing his local recommendations and made sure I was comfortable throughout. He even picked me up from the bus stop and dropped me off in the city after checkout. Believe the rave reviews of this place. Do yourself a favour and book this Airbnb, you will not regret it!

The Balumgala estate was the highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. From the peaceful surroundings, to the tranquil environment, tasteful furnishings and comfortable beds, the large and well-equipped kitchen, the walawwa style architecture, everything was perfect. Our host, Sandun was always available on Whatsaap to sort out either the wifi connectivity or the TV connection, which was not initially working. The staff at the property did everything to accommodate our needs for meals or recreation, and Siva deserves all the compliments that he has received in the other reviews. He is very polite, caring, thoughtful and an incredible cook!! We stayed here for two nights during the annual Avurudu with a family of five and we would come back any day for another memorable holiday at the picturesque Balumgala estate.

The place is incredible and looks exactly like the photos. There‘s a lot of space for two people. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. It is peaceful but you do need a tuktuk to get to the city center because the way is long and the streets are steep. But if you like the nature, this place is made for you.

My family and I planned to stay in Kandy for a couple of nights but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our booking. The house is very spacious and peaceful with a beautiful view of the river. You are not disturbed by the traffic noise of Kandy. I would not recommend it for children under the age of 5 due to the high balconies. There is an office with fibre internet where I was able to work remotely. The staff were very helpful and looked after us well. Ravana is a great host who went out of our way to make us feel welcome. He also took the time to recommend places that avoided the crowds. He was quick to answer any of our needs. On several occasions we walked into town - about 30minutes on foot. If you are not comfortable negotiating traffic I wouldn’t recommend this but it is easy to catch a Tuk instead. The house has an impressive driveway which kept us fit! Overall I would highly recommend staying here.
