Waterfront holiday rentals in Penang

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

I'd give more than five stars if AirBnB would let me. We felt really at home, and would unequivocally recommend the place. Siew Lin is an amazing host, flexible, helpful. The place is great. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures; there are two fully-fitted bathrooms, each with a shower; a great kitchen that is fully equipped; washing machine and a drying rack on the beautiful balcony; everything to feel like home... The location is also perfect. In the building complex there's a fully-stocked supermarket (downstairs and across a covered walkway, 3 minutes door-to-door), great restaurants, a beautiful pool that is always empty, a gym, great surroundings... We also like the geography in the city, nestled (somehow extremely quietly) between Georgetown and Tanjung Bungah!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The sea view was absolutely stunning, it was my favorite part of the stay. As someone who finds peace and healing by looking at the ocean, this view truly touched my heart. My family also really enjoyed our time there and felt very comfortable. Thank you for such a lovely experience – we hope to come back again!

Airlevate suite has a beautiful waterfront view of the harbour and across the road to a park area. There are nearby walkable hawker centres and not too far by Grab to Georgetown and other areas of Penang. The apartment was spacious, nice natural light. The host provided clear check in instructions and there were no issues.

I love this homestay. You won't need to bring extension cord. They had numbers of sockets installed, with a good placement too. Overall a good stay. Thank you Mr Ashraf!

Shi's place was a nice stay. The unit is good size, and is very well equipped. There are a few restaurants and cafes around, with a nice grocery store across the street. It is technically within walking distance of Gurney and Quayside, but with the weather I only did those walks in the evening when it's cooler. Otherwise I took Grab. A few downsides, as others have mentioned, the building has lots of Airbnb's and the lifts can become quite busy. Also the unit is a few stories above the pool, which can be a bit noisy in the mornings if you are a later sleeper.

Perfect beachfront escape! Wall-to-wall ocean views took our breath away daily. The whole-floor condo is stylishly furnished and immaculate. Just steps from the sand and surrounded by incredible dining options from casual cafes to upscale restaurants. Falling asleep to ocean waves and morning coffee on the balcony were highlights. Couldn't ask for a better location combining beach tranquility with amazing food. Already planning our return!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Corner unit with magnificient seaview at the balcony. House got everything including 1 wheelchair for senior citizen with mobility problem. Amray is very helpful in guiding me on how to open the door using the digital key ( which shall be pointed at the center of the black door panel ) and by giving me a new password in case cannot open. Will definately come back again.

The house was spotlessly clean and had a fresh, pleasant scent the moment we walked in. All the facilities and amenities were top-notch, exactly as described. Great ambience quiet and nice view over the sea

We had a really good stay here! The place is great for groups because every room has its own bathroom and TV, which gave everyone some nice private space. Each room also has 2–3 sockets, so charging our stuff wasn’t a problem. The water pressure in each bathroom was totally fine too. The owner was friendly and quick to reply to messages and calls. He even let us try the KTV room for free! Only thing is, there’s just one master gate card, and you need it to keep the electricity on in the house. So if you're with a big group, someone always has to be around to open the gate or door if people come back at different times. Kinda inconvenient, but not a huge deal. Also, the noise cancellation isn’t perfect. We could hear water running from upstairs and some talking from outside. But honestly, it didn’t bother us much because having our own private space mattered more. Overall, it was a comfy, fun stay with great service. Would definitely recommend it for families or groups of friends!

Recommended place to stay which is quite centralised. Easy to move around and the house is in pristine condition. The stairs quite manageable and there are plenty kitchen utensils provided including mineral water. Love the location and really appreciative on the clear guideline given for easy check-in.

This apartment was well worth the price. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. The clothes dryer was a perk. The appliances were modern and well maintained. The A/C and fans kept us cool. The WiFi worked perfectly to keep us connected. The showers were hot and we slept peacefully in our cozy beds. We had a beautiful mountain view from our patio. Our building had direct access to the pool, but the apartment faced away from the pool which helped mute the noise. The beach was beautiful with lots of activities, music and restaurants. We were strategically close to other attractions in Batu Ferringhi and were able to make the 45 minute trip into Georgetown with ease. We often walked around the neighborhood to eat at various restaurants along the street or at neighboring resorts. We liked having options to buy items at the convenience store, local shops, or with Grab. Ady was very responsive and helpful!

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! Comfortable and clean

The hosts are very responsive to our requests (e.g providing tissue papers). When we first checked in, the bathroom drainage was clogged up so the hosts even paid for the housekeeper to come and cleared the drain. Although the house cleanliness was not at its best, but the hosts are kind enough to fulfil our requirements 👍🏻 Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed and it was so great to have the water filter. Lots of recommendations from Ng for places to visit and eat. The infinity pool had the most amazing view. Thanks highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay in this 3-bedroom Airbnb! The spacious living room boasted a lovely view, and the fully equipped kitchen was a huge plus. The location was super convenient, with Gurney Paragon just a 15-minute walk away, and a nearby hawker center for easy dining. One minor drawback was that one bedroom didn't have an outdoor view, but it was still acceptable. The only other thing that could use improvement were the bath towels, which felt a bit worn out. Despite these minor issues, we'd definitely recommend this place for its great location, amenities, and parking lot. We'll definitely come back and stay again!
