We had the best stay! The locals were super nice when my husband and kids ran into them fishing. It was an easy drive from Wilsteam (our first day activity), and to Big Splash (the next day). The fire pit was a great bonus.

Wooded getaway is very accurate. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is so pretty and Ron had turned the strings of lights on for our arrival. So very thoughtful for us Texans who were tired from a day of travel. There is ample outdoor seating and firewood available for an outdoor camp fire. We all rested well. The price is really good for everything you get. This area of Indiana is stunning. I would like to come back and stay longer! Thank you Ron!

Courtney was flexible regarding our check-in time and went above and beyond resolving an issue with the coffee maker (i.e., she had a new one delivered in hours). "Hidden Oaks" at Patoka Lake

We arrived after dark but gps took us right there. We came from checking out French Lick area and West Baden. While sitting in the atrium of that hotel I kind of wished we were staying there until we walked in the door of the beautiful log cabin. It was beautiful! It was clean and cozy. Although it rained the whole visit it was nice to sit on either the front deck or the screened in back deck area. It was private but other places nearby so it wasn’t so secluded it was scary! Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Loved the little bear family on the beam. I would live there full time but thanks for sharing your piece of heaven!!!
