Very nice place, quiet and private. I recommend it if you want to clear your mind. Close to many food places and easy to access.

Three of us visited from Texas. We wanted something away from San Juan and closer to our family in Guayama. Be aware if you are not used to driving in PR, this place may not be for you. You must drive over windy roads in the mountains. As far as the condo, my only complaint is having to wait on the gentlemen at the gate to be present to open it. Thankfully, it only happened once, and just for a few minutes. Otherwise, it is a beautiful place and location if you like peace and quiet. It is located high on a hill so the view is impressive. We took advantage of the elevation to walk up and down the hills. The beach is not suitable for swimming as it is very rough water but the nature reserve is a nice place to walk. The condo does have a great pool. The nearby restaurants are great. The grocery store, Mi Gente, is close by if you are note wanting to eat out every day. The condo was very clean, beautiful, and spacious. I would highly recommend. It is a perfect place to relax.

This space was the best space I've stayed at while visiting the island. It's private and clean, and the views are amazing. My kids loved the animals and tranquility. The icing on the cake was the hosts, who were phenomenal. We felt like family! It was well worth the stay for the restoration of sanity in this peaceful place. Thank you so much, Nacho & Maria! 🫶!

It was a great place to stay for our honeymoon in Puerto Rico, gorgeous fruit trees and the best part was that we got to try there coconuts, star fruit, mangos and pana! Loved the theme and appreciated how generous the hosts were in showing us around the beach towns and which restaurants and places to visit. Would highly recommended others to stay here and we plan on coming back next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Palmas del Mar. The home was not only lovely and well-maintained, but it also made our entire family feel right at home. One of the highlights was the stunning view—we were able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset with the ocean right in sight. It was truly peaceful and relaxing. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a special getaway.

We booked our stay at Villa Astanda because my husband was playing at Yabucoa’s “Encuentro Metalero del Este”. We did not want to drive back home too late at night. We absolutely loved staying at Villa Astanda, I would book again in a heartbeat. Comfortable, clean, beautiful decoration, beutiful views of the nature and sea from everyroom. I didnt even care that the bedroom shades werent blackouts. It was actually nice to wakeup feeling the light and having the views. Balcony perfect for a morning coffee and having worship time for God. 2 bathrooms, which is a must, master bedroom with ensuite, I think me and my hubs won’t have it other way from now on. Peaceful, quiet surroundings. Didn’t care much for the pool, you can park near it if you are interested, that way you won’t have to hike the steep street back to the apartment (like my kids did)! Full kitchen, no microwave, we didn’t mind, they have an awesome Ninja airfryer. Loved it! Would book again!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay and our host, Laura! She was very kind and generous and a great host. She made us feel right at home. The property is amazing and probably the best value for my money I have found so far on the island in three trips here worth of exploring! Gorgeous views, well manicured grounds, very private places to explore in nature. We loved the coqui and our little rooster friend!

I don't use the term "breathtaking" as a rule, but I literally gasped when I saw (and heard) the pounding surf at the edge of the property. The view of the coastline, including the lighthouse, was glorious. The house was everything you could ask for and more, including a well-furnished kitchen. The only glitch was that the Google map pin didn't work, and we drove right by the house. But we texted the caretaker who responded immediately and drove to meet us and led us right to the spot. She could NOT have been more helpful, gracious, and accommodating. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and made friends with the local cats, dogs, and chickens. We had a memorable 2 nights. Wish it could have more.

We had a fantastic stay at Jessica’s beachfront villa. Everything was exactly as described. The home was clean, comfortable, and ready for us when we arrived. Jessica was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location is incredible. The beach is just steps from the porch. The views fantastic. While the ocean currents make it less ideal for swimming right in front of the house, there is a sandbar where we safely splashed and played with our kids. It felt peaceful and private. Most days we had the beach entirely to ourselves. We loved walking the shoreline, collecting conch shells, giant sand dollars, sea glass, and other treasures. If you are looking for a quiet beach escape away from the crowds, this place is perfect. We would absolutely come back.

Our week at MikaLuka was great! The location and outdoor space was amazing. The private pool was so lovely. I was disappointed that we weren’t going to be able to use it our last afternoon when I discovered that an iguana must have gotten in and used it as a toilet. However, when I reached out to let Vanessa know, she had someone there in minutes and it was cleaned up and able to be used again in under half an hour! Quite impressive and we were so thankful. Nice restaurants nearby. Recommend the sangria by the restaurant a couple doors down as well as dinner at Arcoiris and El Gallo Pinto in Guayama!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! I loved sitting on the hammock and listening to music on the Bluetooth speaker while grilling outside. The views are unbeatable from the porch. The home is so well decorated and has everything you need stocked. The hosts were even kind enough to leave us some snacks in the fridge at check in. We had a spectacular time and can’t wait to come back.

Arnaldo was amazing very helpful. The place was amazing ,quite private and the splashing of the waves relaxing. I will return back in August will be coming to stay here for sure

Beautiful views of the ocean. Loved having coffee looking out at the ocean every day. Cute and comfortable vacation home for our family of five. We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom (only for a load a laundry and to use the 2nd bathroom). Air conditioning units in each room were used when in the house got warm at night. It was communicated several time that the weekends are pretty “festive” and you can hear cars playing loud music from the road so that wasn’t a surprise. Sound machines are provided but we actually travel with one for our youngest child. After the first night the traffic noise/occasional loud playing car music didn’t bother us and only really noticed it on the weekend. Excellent communication ahead of our stay & during our stay. Hector was very friendly when posing questions. Actually everyone in the area was very friendly. We were glad we avoided the crowds in San Juan and experienced Patillas. Would definitely recommend this home to other families.

After several stays @ Luis’ we refer to his place as our home away from home. This AIRBNB exceeds expectations & is worthy of all the great reviews. We’re looking forward to our next stay !

We had a fantastic stay at Vista Real! John’s listing was spot-on—beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group of five adults. With all the amenities we needed, it truly felt like a home away from home. The plaza location was unbeatable, with grocery stores and great dining options right at our doorstep. Pura Vida, owned by Ivan, is a must-visit. Every restaurant in the plaza offers amazing food—you won’t be disappointed! The convenience of having so many options nearby made our stay effortless. Check-in was seamless, and John was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and truly a Superhost. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible experience. Beyond the plaza, Vista Real is perfectly located for easy access to stunning beaches and plenty to explore nearby. Whether relaxing or adventuring, there’s something for everyone. This condo is beautiful! We were here for a wedding at the hotel down the street and the space was perfect for our family. Everyone has plenty of room to spread out and the resort is gorgeous. My daughter enjoyed the resort’s pool and it was great to have beach towels and toys available to use. This is one of the nicest and most thoughtfully stocked Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at!

We loved the location and the condo. Everything was just as described. The restaurants in the area were all good. Definitely recommend renting a golf card to get around the resort. Joe was super helpful and patient. We had a large crowd staying at a couple of locations, so I was not keeping all of his directions straight and did not make me feel bad for asking things that were in his instructions 🥴 Would stay there again for sure.

The Airbnb was excellent. The place was quiet and safe; my kids played outside without a care. The pool was just for us, and although we didn't go to the beach, walking along the coast was spectacular. The room was impeccable, with everything you need and a nice scent. They even had repellent available, which was useful for mosquitoes in the morning and at sunset. It's an Airbnb in a prime location. We loved it and want to go back!
