This house is now 1 of 2 vacation rentals on the property that was originally designed and constructed by the set designer of Little House on the Prairie. You will definitely notice the home's unique architecture as soon as you walk in. You will not find another home like this nor the massive 50 ft+ rock wall that provides cover to back side of the house. In 2016, after more than 50+ years operating as a working cattle ranch (Brookins Ranch) and a viewing attraction for Adelaida Wine Trail travelers, the property was unfortunately shut down and put up for sale. As a born and raised local, I had to purchase the property with the hopes of restoring it to its greatest and to allow others to enjoy what it has to offer. Since March 2017, my family and I have been working hard on the restoration - attempting to keep a lot of it's uniqueness while integrating modern technologies that will help expand the property's life. As such, we welcome you to come enjoy the experience as we continue to bring this property back to life! House Features: 2 Bedrooms (1 Master - Queen Bed) - (1 King Bed in 2nd Bedroom), 1 full Bathroom, fun and antique full kitchen with all necessities, living room and dining nook. Guests have access to the entire house plus outside gathering area and a long paved driveway that is great for a stroll - you can even hike to the hilltop peak of the property. There are pastures in front of the house that is currently home to our Texas Longhorn ladies, they can be viewed from the drive way. We don't live on the property, but there is a caretaker located on the grounds that can be reach for emergencies. We are located only a few minutes away if you need anything else, please feel free to text or call. The Lodge is on a 16-acre property at the start of the Adelaida Road Wine Trail. This remodeled barn offers complete privacy yet is only eight minutes from downtown Paso Robles. This charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath outfitted with fine linens, and all the essentials. On the large deck one can sip on a glass of wine watching the sunset or sip on a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise.
