Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Parke County

Our stay was wonderful. The home was convenient and centrally located to ISU. If ever in Terra Haute again I would stay at this location again.

I found out I was going to have a weekend off after 4 months. I decided I needed to get away to sometime more peaceful. We had been to the area in the past to visit the Inidana State Sanatorium and my son wanted to go for another visit. I stumbled upon Andrea's place, and it was pet friendly. My first time bringing my pooches. Her property is beautiful and everything I was looking for. The home is spacious and clean. I loved the outside sitting areas. Good place to listen to nature, the small river and have a cup of coffee in the morning, or have a relaxing drink in the evening. There are a few paddle boats on the property. So much fun! And a swimming hole on the other side. Andrea is a lovely host, so friendly and happy to know you're enjoying yourself and the space she provides. I would definitely recommend her property and would love to visit again when I need some time away

The place was very spacious and comfortable. Just the right mix of modern and traditional, with a lot of room to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of TV areas, including a neat little room my husband named “man-cave” to watch TV. Overall, neat house that I would stay in again. I would vote it the best I have stayed in Terre Haute. Of note, four beds are upstairs in a spacious attic nook with a TV area and bathroom. The other two bedrooms are on the lower floor. Kelly and her husband were very responsive to any needs that we had, and when we ran into an issue they responded quickly. The house was great!

We rented Deer Creek Farmhouse & The Pond House for my son's wedding in Green Castle mid Nov. This property is so gorgeous and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. We were blessed with sunshine & some warmer weather for our stay which made it more enjoyable in November. After the wedding rehearsal & dinner in town Friday evening, our immediate family that was staying with us, enjoyed a nice fire at the fire pit. Smores of course & lots of laughs. Saturday, was the wedding, so we were gone most of the time. But it was so nice to get dressed and ready there, instead of a hotel room. Sunday, a few were able to enjoy some fishing at the pond and the zip line. What a fun time had by everyone! This was my first experience with an Airbnb. Michelle was so wonderful from the beginning of planning this trip. I highly suggest their wonderful place!

Awesome place! The property is beautiful and plenty of room inside and outside for families. This is the second time we have stayed here and hope to come back again soon. Nice and close to Turkey Run state Park for hiking.

We had a great time, even though the rain put a damper on our plans. Nice little local getaway for us!

This cottage was so quaint and homey which provided me and my friends the perfect getaway to spend time with one another. The area was quiet and friendly. The house was roomy for all of us to fit comfortably but small enough to not feel like we were to far away. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun weekend away from the city!

Kathy’s place was immaculately clean and she was very responsive. Great location, too. I will definitely stay there again when in the area.

We had a great stay in Dana. Kevin’s house is beautiful, with a private access to the apartment above his garage. It is quite secluded but easy to find. We showed up after dark but Kevin had lights lining the driveway for us to see our way. The front of the house was roaming with deer when we arrived. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated with a comfy couch and chair in the living area and antique bedroom furniture in the bedroom. The place was very clean, to the point of spotless. The bath towels were fluffy and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. During our stay we went to Parke county to see covered bridges throughout the day, visited the old mill in Bridgeton, ate at Benjamin’s in Rockville, and watched a movie at the old time movie theater The Ritz. I enjoyed my time in the area and would love to return during the bridge festival one day.

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was perfect for me and my husband and our dog. It felt very comfortable and was right across the street from the trails. We enjoyed the outside space with the porch, fire pit and grill. I would definitely recommend this to others and hope to stay here again.

Really nice housefor family and friends! Super cozy, with super comfy furniture. Everything you need and more! Big kitchen, lots of things to do, games, movies (dvds)… The owner responses were always fast and friendly. A place to revisit

This property was exactly as described. Host was very friendly and quick to respond to questions. Turkey Run is right across the road - can’t get much more convenient than that. Very clean, quiet and peaceful place. Will come back in the future. Thank you!

Very pleased with our stay. The cabin was as described and was very clean. The hosts were extremely helpful, and provided the best electronic guest guide I’ve very seen at an Airbnb. It answered common questions and very clearly described the property, rules, what was around the area, etc.

Place was great! Super cozy, walking distance from the park. If you book directly on the cabin’s website it’s significantly cheaper.

This place was incredible for a quiet weekend get away. The cabin was perfect for just relaxing. Gabriel was always quick to respond when I had any questions and was always very friendly! The cabin was very clean and felt very much like I was at home. Would plan a trip here again!
