Family-friendly holiday rentals in Paredes de Coura

We would like to thank Architect Paulo Gomes for the sympathy and attention with which we were received in his magnificent villa in Monção, through the Airbnb platform. It was truly well spent days, in a fantastic space where there was nothing missing. The villa has excellent conditions, which exceeded our expectations, providing unique moments of comfort and leisure. As a constructive suggestion, and with all due respect, we believe it could be even more enjoyable if hosts made us slightly more at ease, avoiding going around the house while our group was present. Anyway, this is just a light recommendation, as everything else was just fantastic. We reiterate our thanks and congratulate us on the wonderful villa and hospitality.

It was a super quiet stay. It is a perfect place to disconnect. Everything was perfect and very neat. The house is beautiful and is decorated just like the environment. Nature surrounds us. The materials of the house are pure and in symbiosis with nature. Host Cheila is a sweetheart. We love everything: the house, the jacuzzi, the horses, the birds. Cheila was super friendly and proactive with our Booking. I recommend it without hesitation. Thank you ❤️

A nosa estancia foi excelente. O aloxamento era moi cómodo, limpo e completamente equipado, polo que nos sentimos como na casa dende o primeiro momento. A cama era moi confortable e descansamos moi ben todas as noites. A ubicación era ideal, nunha zona tranquila perfecta para desconectar. Sen dúbida, un dos grandes atractivos foi a piscina: ampla, limpa e perfecta para refrescarse e relaxarse ao sol. A anfitriona foi moi atenta e amable, sempre dispoñible para calquera dúbida. Sen ningunha dúbida, repetiríamos!

We really enjoyed this villa, its wide open spaces, swimming pool and beautiful well-maintained garden. The on-site caretakers have always listened to us to facilitate our stay.

Great stay, I hope to be able to repeat again!

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

The beautiful and pure place in the forest, for those who like to contemplate nature. We also love the pool. The hostess was very attentive. Thanks Manuela for seeing us again!

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

Gui was the best host you could have. From the minute, we felt right at home. The place is idyllic: the river, the birds, the flowers... The house has everything you need to spend a relaxing and intimate stay. Our bitches have enjoyed the freedom of endless fields to explore. At all times Gui's willingness to any need has been absolute, it is a true charm. We left with a full heart and a huge desire to come back.

The house is wonderful, large and cozy. The exteriors are simply spectacular, a huge swimming pool with the water at an excellent temperature (not cold), and a huge plot of land on terraces, green and leafy, everything very well maintained. The photos don't do it justice, it's much better. I recommend it without hesitation.

the stay was great, we were not lucky with time to enjoy the pool. the walls have very low parts, the dogs end up jumping, and in our opinion, there should be a protection behind the spraying machines.

Wonderful apartment, right in the center of Monção with all the amenities you need.

Quinta da Toural is an absolutely wonderful farm for a group of friends or a large family. It consists of a large house, the main house with 4 suites, equipped with air-conditioning, TV, electric shutters and huge bathrooms! Then there are 3 more T1 houses, 1 bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom And another T0 house. All bedrooms and bathrooms are of the same size and scale, meaning they are equivalent in terms of quality! The farm has a lot of very sweet animals! 2 ponies, goats, 1 pig and an Emu (cousin of Ostrich). The photos of the listing do not do justice to the wonderful landscape, the swimming pool with a panoramic view and the beautifully landscaped gardens. We really loved it and want to come back next year! We were a group of 15 adults and it's all so spacious we didn't even feel like there were so many of us! The host is very thoughtful and communicative! You're always available to help!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

The accommodation is exactly what it advertises. A quiet place to relax and spend a few days in nature. Liliana is a very friendly host who welcomed us on time and with a gift. To get to restaurants or shopping, a car is a must, but the distance is not too much. Liliana gave us directions on it. This is an old house renovated so you will find that some furniture is old and other modern but all functional. The cleanliness was excellent. I only tried one bed and it was so comfortable. The pool and nature do the rest.

Oh we loved our stay! So peaceful and relaxing just what we needed! Maria’s place was so very clean, and her mom was so sweet! We were left a bag of fresh tomatoes and apples from her garden. We enjoyed cooking in the equipped kitchen, washing machine is a bonus, hung our clothes to dry, and soaked in the rays in the beautiful surroundings. Very attentive, lovely hosts. Would highly recommend! Thank you so very much!

If you're looking for peace and serenity, go for it. Secluded at an altitude of 800m in unspoiled nature, you will have a breathtaking slideshow. You will see wild animals during your walks or 2 steps from your accommodation. 15 min from the Ponte de Lima, you will find everything you will need. Rosa and her husband are extremely kind and we had the opportunity to make us offer local specialties when we woke up. The accommodation is very well equipped. A big thank you rosa for this great vacation. Small downside, access is not the simplest but with the habit it goes on its own. Celine Julien Lucie and Lena
