The Summer Guesthouse in Darwin was everything we were hoping for from our three-night stay between Kakadu and the Kimberley. The location was really convenient, very close to the major Casuarina shopping centre and an easy 15-20 minute drive to the major attractions of Mindil Beach and the Waterfront area. The house itself was spotlessly clean, well appointed and extras like Netflix, beautiful swimming pool, and a tranquil Bali-resort style undercover upstairs deck. Eva is a gracious host - welcoming and easily contactable but equally respectful of guests privacy too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and finished our stay having recharged, relaxed and restocked ready for the next leg of our big NT adventure!

I recently stayed at Matthew’s place with a group of friends for a holiday in Darwin. Matthew’s place was absolutely fantastic and a wonderful experience for our group. It was exactly as described in the listing, and was a fantastic place for a group to enjoy sunny Darwin. The house is very spacious, full of amenities and had a lovely outdoor area also. Matthew was very quick to respond whenever we had a query and the check in and check out process was simple and exactly as described. We never once had any issue with the house and would recommend it to anyone staying in Darwin.

Home away from home. This house had every thing we needed and more. Our family loved the house and the pool. The kids corner inside and outside kept our kids entertained which was so relaxing for us. We loved visiting the green tree frog and fishes every morning. We have recommended this house to family and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Darwin. Thanks Sean & Cate

Amazing location with beautiful sunsets! Watch the sun go down from the patio or join the locals and have drinks and nibblies on the grassed public area in front of villa. Bike paths make it easy to access Military Museum, Museum & Art Gallery, Mindel Beach markets, sunset at Ski Club, Casino and all the city sights. We hired electric bikes for the week from Phil at Bicycle Fix. Great restaurants within walking distance. The Villa was well appointed with absolutely everything you need for your stay and many surprise items that are not found at other homes (ie. fishing rods, kayaks, staple pantry and laundry items). Thanks for the special local gifts. Comfortable beds and relaxed furniture. Perfect for our annual adult family holiday (8 adults) with plenty of different areas to come together or have your own space. Thanks for sharing your home with us Justine and making our holiday in Darwin memorable. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Very nice place to stay. Close to town, retaurants and other services. The place was clean although we were unable to locate a broom.

We had a fantastic stay at this Darwin CBD apartment! The location is perfect — just a stone’s throw away from fishing wharfs and jetties, and within easy driving distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Despite being in the heart of the city, the apartment is tucked away on a quiet street, giving us peaceful, restful nights. One of our favourite features was the spacious balcony with a lovely sea view and refreshing breeze — we found ourselves spending a lot of time there, especially in the mornings. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The well-equipped kitchen and generous cooking space made it easy for us to prepare our own breakfasts and dinners. Parking was also hassle-free with convenient car park access. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and made our Darwin trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed at Doug’s lovely place for a week. His apartment was very spacious, photos don’t do it justice, the apartment is great for families. kitchen fully equipped and a coffee machine and pods for coffee lovers. A fully equipped laundry which is super handy whilst on holidays. A lovely balcony to enjoy a beverage and snacks. Beds and pillows are super comfy with fresh crisp linen. Plenty of board games to keep family entertained. Air conditioners worked great! My family and I didn’t have far to go into CBD to explore or find a restaurant. Great communication with Doug, very quick to respond for any questions. So all in all a wonderful stay! Thank you Doug :)

Cassandra's place was amazing! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. It was spacious and had everything with needed. Cassandra was also very helpful and responded right away if we had questions. She gave really clear instructions on how to get in which is so important when you're travelling. You just want it to be easy. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's close to all the restaurants and downtown area.

Hi Kerri-Ann Thank you for your kind hospitality. The bacon, eggs, milk, butter and bread were a really nice touch! After a long flight we were really grateful that we had something for breakfast the next day without having to leave the unit ! We loved the unit and will definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay, right on the waterfront. Quiet and peaceful, easy to walk into town. High quality apartment and nothing too much trouble to sort out if something needed. Would highly recommended you to stay there if you visiting Darwin
