Bernardo is a wonderful host and extremely responsive. The stay is extremely private with its own entrance from the side patio. There's also a small kitchen for use with direct access from outside. Parking is tight, but normal for Portugal. Coordinate your arrival time with Bernardo and give him the heads up if you have a car. We initially parked at the grocery store across the way, and then moved the car when we knew exactly how to get in. The room is a bit damp, but that is normal for an older home in Portugal. It also rained a lot while we were there, which likely contributed. The room is well taken care of. There are good restaurants and cafes just down the road. It is easy to get to the historic centre by a direct bus (the 600) or a cheap bolt. Overall the place is a great value and I would return if in Porto again.

A really lovely room just like the photos. The family were all very welcoming and helpful. They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and looked after our bags on our last day .We had a fantastic meal one evening in their restaurant, not to be missed . The only down side was it’s a reasonable walk to the old town of Porto but if you don’t mind that it’s a lovely place to stay

Superb Airbnb, I recommend it! Rosalia made us feel truly welcome, the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. We had a complimentary bottle of wine from the house.
