This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

To say this place was exceptional is an understatement. The apartment is AMAZING. Spotless, beautiful lemon farm, beautiful layout. Jorge was incredible. He gave us great local restaurants/wine vineyards and even differed help accommodating reservations for vineyards. Would absolutely stay again!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

A great place to forget everyday life. A modern house on old foundations, the stream flows underneath, you can see it through the glass bottom cutout in the floor. The rushing waterfall is omnipresent, and can also be seen through the large panoramic windows. If you are sure on your feet, you can climb into the river above the waterfall (watch out for a few thorny branches here and there) and swim against the current until the fresh temperature forces you to turn back. But you can also cool off in the fresh pool at any time. The Internet is also very relaxing, so you can get back to reading books and forget the world outside. The neighbouring village of Taide can be hiked in a good 30 minutes. The restaurant "Tasquinha do Povo" was an experience, loving hospitality, delicious sardines, fresh homemade flatbread and then we were seduced by the locals at the neighbouring table to try a local wine. It was a great experience for us all around.

An excellent experience, a very welcoming place for those who want to rest, watch series and entertainment with the projector and relax with their partner. It had the necessary amenities for a stay, and I can also highlight the small face towel, which few ALs have. We saw the horses, the puppy and a beautiful green environment with yellow flowers, no doubt there is a very beautiful view from the window. It was very peaceful and in the morning it is beautiful to hear the birds singing. The cabin is small but cozy, has air conditioning and cools the environment inside quickly, which is excellent in warmer seasons. Some points for improvement have already been discussed with the host. We ordered the breakfast menu, pancakes, and for the price, for 2 people, it's very good, easy and punctual delivery, I highly recommend it! We'll definitely be back for the next one! 👏🏽 Thank you!!

Great location if you want to be in nature and not have crowds around you. Leen and Sam are very nice and let you go your own way. It's great to see how they are working ecologically. We completely relaxed and drove from there to Amarante. The roads are easy to drive on and it is a barely discovered area. Bed is fine and you only have to take shower, not too long but no problem for us.
