Vihanga Village - Jungle retreat in Dambulla

RobertRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What an incredible location, hosts, accommodation, and food! I need to give a special mention to Vihanga who was an amazing host and we had some amazing conversations and he helped me immensely with arranging transport for future trips, and also arranging a tuk tuk to drop and pick me up for the day. His Mother prepared an amazing dinner and breakfast (dinner was very reasonably priced too). I loved every minute of my stay - thank you! ❤️

A4 Villa, Habarana

place is serene and built while preserving the nature. as soon as you get down you just see green everywhere. They have a great pool with a kid area. the highlight was being able to use their kitchen to cook some meals for our picky kids.

Shen Residence super king Bed & Nature view Sigiri

KatieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an amazing stay for 3 nights. Shen and the rest of the staff were all so lovely & they were always available to answer any questions/sorting out activities/organizing taxis’. Was nice to have the restaurant right next to our room too! The safari tour they organized was the highlight of the trip. Definitely recommend.

Gala Addara Hotel (Double Room)

CarolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It is really a great accommodation, very central and yet quiet, the whole family and staff take excellent care of everything, the breakfast was super delicious and very plentiful and we got very good tips for activities as well as the organization of the driver. The pool is great for cooling off after excursions. We will be happy to come back.

Elephant Lake Villa Tree House

Manuel EduardoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
located in the heart of the jungle, Madu's place is really good for nature lovers. It is very relaxing, and his food is delicious. I liked it so much I stood an extra night. I had a minor issue when I found out some critters eating my food in the room. The only recommendation is to put food downstairs, not in the tree house. Amazing place if you want to shower naked in the middle of a tree, heavily covered by the branches. This place was carved by Madu, a real masterpiece

tharu nature villa

MattisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Tharu's. Clean rooms and amenities. There are 3 rooms and a pool. Mosquito nets above the beds. Tharu cooks well, and we had all our meals there, which was very convenient for our family of 3 small kids. They also took us to see the elephants in Huluru Eco Park. And arranged a tuk to see the sights on the other days. Tharu's homestay is in a village, so you can experience and see the local life. Beautiful people, can't recommend them enough. Go stay here if you're visiting Sigiriya 😀 Support small local businesses. Thanks Tharu!
