The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

The jacuzzi, AC and heat are all in working order. A million stars and no cars at 4200’ elevation. Stay in a 25' renovated 1990's trailer with AC and a 280 sq ft covered deck with misters and fan, propane grill and PRIVATE JACUZZI! Dedicated WiFi bridge insures solid connectivity. Fresh air, no crowds, nice local trails. Local wineries and restaurants are tasty. Wifi is great. TV with Roku indoors; bluetooth speakers on the deck, and cows in the pasture. Treetop Hideout · On 2.5 Acres of Private Forest

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.

Bluebird Tiny House Forest Retreat

This vintage horse trailer was reimagined into a Tiny house by Lane and Laurie as a couples project in 2018 which they completely gutted and remodeled using beautiful natural materials like wood, old fashioned wood cabinetry, handmade ceramic tiles and woven bamboo. Bluebird Tiny House is tucked into a secluded forest meadow, named for the bluebirds that spend part of the year there and there are miles of private trails to enjoy.
