Stellar host and fantastic experience! I love this place so much I booked it again very quickly as I had to work in Philly. This place is 30 minutes away from Center City. I have extremely sensitive ears and can hear the slightest noise and I couldn’t hear traffic, as the place is well insulated. Kale is very quiet like me. I heard the door open once and it’s the only indication that he is there. If I’m working in Philly, I’ll be back here as much as possible. Highly, highly recommend and it’s one my favorite places to stay!!

Vicky provided the perfect place to stay so I could watch my daughters compete in a nearby rowing competition. The room was very comfortable; I slept like a rock every single night after long days at the river. Everything is extremely clean and very welcoming. Vicky is so sweet and extremely hospitable - very conscientious of her guest’s space but also a wonderful conversationalist, happy to make recommendations for eating and sightseeing, and just an overall kind person. I highly recommend her place for a memorable stay!

We just needed a place to stay for one night close to Philly (25 min drive to Independence Hall). Clean and quiet space. Z bars were a nice welcoming snack; tea/coffee were also provided. Queen bed and queen sofa bed were comfortable enough, each could use an extra blanket. Clean bathroom with towels in the cabinet. Bring your own toiletries other than hand soap (as other reviews mentioned). Serene walk along the river right across the street. Dog barking around 7am woke me (I am a light sleeper) but otherwise very quiet and pleasant. Margaret was responsive and kind to accommodate our late arrival; we didn’t meet in person. This sunny basement space with a separate walkout entrance and sliding door steps from parking area in paved backyard driveway with a full basketball court is a really good option if you’re going to Philly or need a place to stop that’s affordable, clean, and quiet in a nice neighborhood across the street from a peaceful river.

It’s a very cozy room with good amenities and a welcome feeling. The desk is okay and I was able to conduct some interviews on it. Water pressure is good and they have a nice to sit on Tom was a friendly and open man. The doggies were barkers but I knew that going in so no complaints there. They were also very sweet and precious. The neighborhood has a beautiful park with a nice walking trail I found to very peaceful and there’s plenty of nearby stores

As a travel nurse, I try to be very cautious in regards to where I stay and I can absolutely say I felt safe and comfortable at this rental. The hosts were very kind and the area is quiet and beautiful with ample parking. I would definitely book a stay at this location again.

David and Jenny were so very friendly, and their place was well-stocked and charming. We had a few long walks around the little town with its cathedral and castles and two gorgeous campuses. Peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful! I hope to stay with David and Jenny again.
