House holiday rentals in Overton County

We very much enjoyed our stay. The place was definitely dated but the new bathrooms were great. We are low maintenance and I can tell they are working to fix the place up. The views are hard to beat and the accommodations were perfect. They gave us unlimited ice which was super cool. Very nice grill that came in handy more than once. Highly recommend this stay for any golf trips to the Dale Hollow State Park course, about 20 mins away. One of the coolest courses in the state of KY. The lake itself is beautiful as well. We rented a pontoon from Sunset marina about 40 mins away. We’ll likely come back!

This was a beautiful farmhouse and we loved the pool. Very cozy with plenty of space. There are lots of steps to get into the house as well as getting up and down to the different levels of the house. Beds were very comfortable and the furniture as well.

WONDERFUL home to spend our family vacation! So spacious, so many extra amenities and conveniences (phone chargers, sunscreen, plenty of bath and pool towels, fully stocked kitchen, firepit supplies, pool toys, cozy soft blankets at every turn, etc), incredibly comfortable beds and furniture, AMAZING pool and hot tub with the best view, gorgeous decor, fun garage full of games and activities and such a kind and responsive host! Grab some of the stocked towels and head to Hidden Harbor Marina and spend a day on the lake (we felt like the only ones out there, so secluded and no boat traffic!), take some of the yard chairs supplied in the garage and check out the local drive-in movies, or stay in and enjoying all the amenities of the home! We made so many family memories in this home and did NOT want to leave!

We had an issue with the lockbox, but Tracey was very helpful and responsive even so late in the evening. The house is beautiful.

We were absolutely blown away by the cleanliness of the home, all of the extra supplies included and the jacuzzi, swim spa and kayaks! We didn’t have to leave the home at all (although did venture to Cookeville several times). Most of the memories were made without having to leave the property. The boat launch right across the street made kayaking very easy. A great place for families as something for everyone to do. The correspondence with the hosts was quick and they were very helpful and super friendly. We 100% recommend this place!

Pictures dont do this listing justice! The entire property is beautiful, serene & SO PEACEFUL! We spent so much time out on one of the many balconies enjoying nature, watching the sunset & watching the boats out on the lake. The amenities are exactly as listed, and I can't say enough about the cleanliness. The hosts were VERY responsive & quick to answer any questions we had. This was the PERFECT anniversary trip & I highly recommend it to anyone looking!

This is our second time renting from Anna and Kate. Their homes are always very nice and very comfortable. They are easy to work with and quick to respond. I would stay again in one of their properties!

This is our second time to stay at this property. Once for our son’s graduation from Tennessee Tech and this past time for his wedding. We also rented their other property around the corner. Both properties are perfect for a little get away!

Anna's place was EXACTLY as pictured with plenty of space for our six adults. We loved how close it was to TN Tech, and the community's amenities - pool, corn hole, and outdoor seating area with TV. This house also has beautiful views of the golf course !

Very clean place to stay and not around a bunch of people only thing is the gravel road it’s on but other than that great place to stay

This place was so cute. We loved having both the main house and guest house. My family of 6 was driving back from the beach and stopped for the night. This place was perfect. We were able to spread out and get a good night sleep. Would have loved to spend more time in town. Area is so cute and the house had so much space and out door space. Attention to detail was great.

Amzing place! The house had almost everything that you may need during your stay. Big bathrooms, lots of fresh towels and a neat kitchen!

The house was very cozy and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Quick drive to downtown Cookeville. We wish we could have stayed longer. Anna was a great host.

Jennifer’s farmhouse was perfect for our needs. We were in town for my youngest siblings funeral. The house was a respite for us. It is cozy, and has beautiful views. We’re discussing going back, staying longer to visit family, and spend some time on the lake. It’s a gem.

We had such a nice respite on a rainy journey between working at festivals. So glad to have a washer and dryer! It’s a simple place with the basics you need, perfect for a quick stop.

This cabin is a special place. Cozy , clean, and comfortable, a beautiful and private setting by the lake, and very convenient to restaurants and downtown Cookeville. The hosts, Anna and Kate, were very responsive. This is someplace I look forward to staying again. And again.

I stayed overnight at Shawna’s barn so that I could attend a wedding nearby. It was the perfect spot for an overnight stay! She was awesome, and her kitchen had a ton of staples for cooking and cleaning. Also, her chickens and her mules/donkeys were beautiful and sweet. I would definitely recommend!

A very comfortable place to stay. The wildlife was right at our door and windows. very quiet and comfortable.

Such a beautiful and lovely place. You can tell that thought was put into every inch of the space. It was exactly as described. Definitely a 10/10 place.
