Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The house exceeded our expectations. It was in a nice quiet area and was very spacious. Really appreciated the little touches like the milk left in the fridge foe tea or coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation.

What an absolutely amazing place, totally worth it i can not use anyother words but stunning ,stunning ,stunning!! I was extremely impressed by the entertainment my little one had with all the toys. That was a big plus and the house was in such great condition everything worked and everything was perfect, the fact that there was shower gel,milk little muffins and so much more provided shows the attention to detail and care of the hosts amazing hospitality,she was so friendly and always available for assistance, not that we needed any but it was definitely a wonderful stay. Thank you so much may you continue to prosper.

Felt like we were in the treetops in the jungle! Absolutely stunning setting. We were thrilled to see Knysna Turacos multiple times. It was a very spacious area and it was no problem having multiple other tenants who lived on the property. The kitchen was extremely well outfitted with all you could want. Although it was chilly- we never needed the gas heaters as the space was upstairs and so naturally warmer. Justin was great to chat with and flexible with us hosting friends for a meal. Darrell was very friendly as a host and showed us around. Many thanks!

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

We had a relaxing and very comfortable stay in the Emerald Suite. The place is lovely, neat, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped and there is more than enough space for a family of four adults and a fur baby. The estate is beautiful and the views were fantastic. Lots of walking and access to beaches was easy. Very well situated, away for all the hustle and bustle of the towns. The hosts Lucy and her husband, JP, were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. They were very thoughtful and made sure everything was just right with our stay. The Emerald Suite is a definite must for a great and pleasant getaway.

A lovely gem of a flatlet! Great, spacious little flatlet with a beautiful garden and pool, offering amazing views overlooking the city. My little doggies felt right at home with the friendly resident dogs and cat. Jos and Shaun are very welcoming and always ready to help. Perfect for the price — I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

This cottage is really lovely, it’s a beautiful, calm and peaceful place - a perfect stop off for our long trip but next time I’d like to stay a few nights and explore the area. The cottage is well thought out - abasing attention to detail, including a box for the dogs (including treats, blankets, towels and bowls) a really nice touch. Also a pack of marshmallows to toast at the beautiful fireplace which is well equipped. Beds are really comfy too!

Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Loved my stay here! Marian, Mauro, and Hajra (housekeeper) are extremely friendly and attentive. Not only are they great hosts but I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The unit was actually better than the pictures. I booked this place initially because it’s one of the few Airbnb’s that offered everything… A/C, fast WiFi, backup power, a full kitchen, gas stove, separate bedroom and living space, etc. My biggest priority was safety and this unit was extremely secure being in the back of the property with lots of gates and cameras. I don’t think there is any other Airbnb in the area that matches up to it. I would absolutely stay here again!

What a clean and comfortable stay I had in this very special Cottage! It was immaculate, and was equipped with everything I would need for a comfortable stay. The property's location is perfect for both Westville and Pinetown. A home away from home . It is clean , spacious and has everthing you can think of . We enjoyed our stay and felt it was too short. As for the host, he is simply the best 👌 SALUTE 🫡.
