A perfect stay in a lovely little town. Close to Nazare, Batalha, Obidos, Alcobaça and Tomar. The hosts were super! We were even able to checkin early! Can’t wait to return!!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Wow!! What a gorgeous house, so peaceful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The back garden and surrounding town is stunning. Thank you Anabela, your hosting, thoughtful gifts and quick communication made our first night in Portugal a highlight. Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return if we come back to Portugal!

Very charming, comfortable and homely house with easy access to Sao Martinho and Navaré. Very tasteful inside. Everything you need is there as the owners clearly stay there themselves.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Extremely clean house with everything you need to spend a relaxing family holiday, close enough to visit Tomar and go shopping and far enough away to be in the quiet of the countryside. Amazing place to stay with incredible views. Served as an excellent stay to relax and recharge on our road trip around Portugal. The pool was great for our kids during some hot days. Perfect place to disconnect from it all and appreciate the views. The added massage option was great for the adults. The sauna was pristine and clean. Need to find something similar back home in the US.

We were extremely well received and received the best instructions and welcome! The interior is comfortable and the garden is relaxing and beautiful. Exactly what we and our 3 dogs needed: a weekend of rest and connection with nature. I highly recommend it!

It was an incredible stay. João's space breathes tranquility. Located just a few metres from the water, fun is always guaranteed if you are a fan of water sports. Rita was very friendly, you got in touch quickly and the cottage was in a nice place. There was everything available for a few nice days. I would describe the house as perfect for 2 people

This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. Staying in Tomar was an unforgettable experience. The house is within walking distance from the train station and right next to ancient walls that lead to a beautiful castle. The area is peaceful with no nearby houses, so it’s incredibly quiet day and night—at night, you hear nothing but birds and insects. The guest house has everything you need, with fast Wi-Fi, strong and hot water, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, you can relax in a hammock or enjoy the sun in a chair. The sunset is stunning, and the night sky is full of stars. The host lives in the main house at a respectful distance, offering full privacy but always ready to help if needed. They are truly kind, thoughtful, and respectful—anticipating guests’ needs and making sure your stay is perfect. I even got fresh lemons from the garden and made delicious lemonade. Thanks to the host’s warmth, I fell in love with Tomar and would return in a heartbeat.

Family of 9 enjoyed our stay in Andreia’s lovely home! Even more charming than the pictures. The yard and pool were so inviting! Beautiful modern home in the middle of a quiet quintessential town. We hope to go back!

Beautiful space, surrounded by nature, rustic cottage in great condition, very friendly and always helpful hosts, made us feel at home. I couldn't fail to mention the friendly Nougat, the friendly farm dog, and the donkey Serafim. Very quiet place, allows you to relax. I highly recommend it.

The location is spectacular. Great for those who want to just relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry night sky. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thank you to Francisco who was always available for whatever it took.

Perfect atmosphere outside of time, the lake for swimming below is incredible. On the other hand, the path to access the accommodation is quite dangerous, we left a rim there, going in 4x4 would have been a good idea

Emily and Gary have created a wonderful haven. We had a lovely stay. The space is so beautiful and well thought out. It’s definitely one of the nicest Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. It was lovely being able to see the sea and watch the sun go down over the pool. The pool is gorgeous, we didn’t use it much as it was very windy for a lot of our stay, but it was great on the hottest day we were there for. We found it extremely peaceful and relaxing which was just what we wanted as a stop off to chill for a bit between Lisbon and Porto.

Nice quiet place at the end of a street….place was very comfortable and had everything we needed including charcoals for the BBQ…which you will need as there are no restaurants close by….good grocery store is 15 minute drive so plan ahead before arriving…also the pool is shared with two other rental units on site….we were all by ourselves so it worked out great…
