We were looking for a quiet family getaway while visiting family in the area - this was the perfect place. The surrounding area was gorgeous, surrounded by fall leaves with a nearby lake to take in. Robert was a generous and responsive host - would absolutely recommend!

Jemma is an amazing host. Very responsive to questions and extremely welcoming. Place was warm, inviting, and well furnished. Place sits on a working farm that has rescue animals, including an emu, goats, and chickens laying eggs. Our sons (8 and 12 yr olds) had fun feeding the animals. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s property while celebrating our child’s 2nd birthday. The home was beautiful, spacious, and impeccably maintained—exactly what we were hoping for. Even though the weather was a bit rainy at times, we were lucky to get some clear moments to enjoy the lovely surroundings, and the space was cozy enough to enjoy indoors as well. We invited a few friends over to celebrate, and everyone had a fantastic time. The home was perfect for hosting a small gathering and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our special occasion. Robert was an outstanding host—very responsive and thorough in making sure we had all the information we needed about the property. He clearly puts a lot of care into both the home and his guests’ experience. We stayed for two nights and truly didn’t want to leave. It was a memorable trip for our family, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Thank you again, Robert—we’d love to return in the future!

Turner Ranch is a gorgeous property - private, peaceful, with lots of wildlife. It is absolutely amazing how many amenities come with this home. Evelyn has thought of every little detail and has extra supplies for anything you may have forgotten to pack - from umbrellas, to drinks, to sunscreen, to fresh fruit on the countertop. The home is beautifully and simply decorated with many large spaces for socializing. The weather was not cooperative while we were there, so we could not take advantage of the many yard games Evelyn generously supplies or the outdoor spaces - patio, fire pit, but we were able to relax in the large living room and dining area and also spend time on the covered porch watching the wildlife. A lovely space for cooking and sharing meals, too. An exceptional gathering area for our family members from different states to converge and spend time relaxing together. Thank you, Evelyn.

Kim’s Airbnb was clean, welcoming, and spacious. We had a wonderful stay, spending our days enjoying nature and exploring the nearby town of Oneonta. Relaxing on the porch was a highlight, and we had a great time during our game nights with the selection of games Kim provided. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a lovely stay! Stocked kitchen to prepare everything you need to keep you fueled up while enjoying the outdoors. This home has everything the family needs to take full advantage of the lake and the yard. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to play badminton and kick around a soccer ball after kayaking on the lake. And at night the game room is stocked with various games to keep you and your family entertained. So grateful to have spent our long weekend here. Highly recommend.

This home is the perfect get away. Gorgeous property. I enjoyed walking in the mornings, beautiful wildlife. The deer get close enough to almost touch! The beds were comfortable. The bedrooms are spread out enough for several families to stay comfortably and with privacy. Lots of bathrooms! Very clean! Lots of kitchen supplies! Everything needed for an amazing get away. I had a wonderful stay at Brooke’s Airbnb! From start to finish, she was amazing—always communicating clearly and promptly, which made everything super easy and stress-free. The house itself was so cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a long day. You can really tell she puts care into making sure guests feel at home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed place to stay!

This was a absolute gem of an Airbnb. The location was everything my wife and I imagine for our kids to grow up in one day. The plot of land the home sat on was one from a fairytale. Melody was a great host. We will 100% be back to this location.

Fantastic place to stay if you are looking to visit Cooperstown. The house is very clean, roomy, and well maintained. The host is very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Cooperstown is just a short 15 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would absolutely stay again!

Cassandra is an excellent host - home was great for what we needed for our Cooperstown tournament. Greet location to the park, excellent restaurants close by, and anything that popped up, she was responsive and quick to resolve. Would absolutely recommend this place and host!

Home was clean and just as described. Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated so far this spring and we weren’t able to enjoy the pool and outside area but that was out of anyone’s control. We were made well aware of this far in advance. We attended our nieces wedding at The Rosemary at Spano Lake and this was only a 20 minute drive to the venue and easily accommodated our family of 8 adults, 1 child and a baby.

We had a great time at the dome! Very peaceful and quiet. This dome was obviously saged or blessed by the pope himself because the vibes were immaculate. Felt like we were living inside a beautiful interior design Pinterest post. Cody was a great host and his Catskills guidebook was very helpful.

Cute little home cabin style. Wish we could have enjoy the home more but due to baseball we only really slept!

Thank you Russell! We had a great stay! We appreciate that the home was easy to find as we arrived after dark. Check in was a breeze and parking was right in front, steps from the front door. The space was spotlessly clean and comfortable. This was super convenient to the Oneonta campus. We appreciated the coffee machine as we had to hit the road early that morning. A cozy, comfortable cabin that was perfect for a group getaway (there were 6 of us). The house was remote, which made for a peaceful stay away from the hustle & bustle of any town/village, and the house was stocked with comfortable beds, linens & amenities. Would definitely go back and recommend!

The best weekend getaway space for when you need to be one with the nature. Super secluded. The property is well maintained, the perfect balance of seclusion while having all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Gerry and Don were very responsive and helpful at every stage. The space was cleaned and heated before we arrived. Both Don and Gerry were friendly and proactive. Definitely recommend staying here.

Filip and Linn have curated a beautiful and well stocked cabin in the middle of the woods. We barely had to leave the property our entire stay there. There’s tons of activities and amenities to make the trip the best it can be. We fit 6 super comfortably in the cabin even during the rainy days. Definitely worth it!!

My family and I stayed at cabin for Thanksgiving and had a great time. We unfortunately lost power for a few hours because of the snow storm but Matt was very responsive and made our stay comfortable. He brought over extra lamps and even brought over cookies and seeds for our kids. The power was back up later that evening. They made our Thanksgiving extra special and we will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We visit Oneonta once or twice a year, often staying at a hotel. I am certain if we did that again, it would be a forgettable weekend. This place made our stay utterly unforgettable. A calm, peaceful cabin on a lovely piece of land on the mountain, just 10 minutes from town. We will never forget our stay at cabin #2 at My Friend's Place.
