The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 kitty cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, approx. 35 min by car. Can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 min. Time

Imagine a few days where you can disconnect from everyday life and instead disconnect from nature. Sharpen your senses, wake up to the sound of birdsong and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. Just row, silence, whizz over the pine crowns and burn the wood stove. Seldalen is an old spring sturgeon with a traditional, simple western Norwegian sturgeon cottage. Don't expect sun every day -nature is weather and you have to adapt to it! Walk from fjord to mountain, enjoy the vertical landscape and end the day with a refreshing bath in Huldrekulpen.

In this place you can find peace for both body and soul. The apartment is located on a peaceful spot on Osterøy, with no noise and motor alarm. From the apartment you have sea views of beautiful Osterfjord, and can enjoy the sunset from a cozy garden just outside the entrance. Parts of the apartment are brand new (June to 25) and appear both practical and homely. There is a short walking distance to mountain hikes, beach and sports facilities. Possibilities to rent extra cabin with room for 2-3 children. Fresh eggs in the chicken garden.

Welcome to Nautaneset! Originally an old homestead that has now been used as a holiday home. The cabin is remotely located by the Sävareidsfjord with all the way up. Here you will have access to a charming old house, large green areas, good bathing opportunities, rod fishing opportunities and a naust with access to kayaks, fishing equipment, outdoor toys, fire pit and outdoor furniture. Outside of the naust, there is a large flattening and wood-fired hot tub. The area is child- and pet friendly. Water from well, drinking water from tank.

Log cabin with all amenities, 25 min from Bergen

Welcome to a real log house, which is built after many hundred year old building desks in Norway. The house has modern facilities on a flat. You will have lovely bed linen, lots of pillows and lots of soft towels. The walls are logs and all floors are solid wood pine floor with heating cables. You can park several cars for free on the property and in the garage and you will be able to enjoy lovely views of the great nature. Bergen is only 25 minutes away. There are 5 beds and a sofa bed in the house. An experience!

The kitchen has a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a dining area with a fjord view. Out on the balcony one can enjoy panoramic fjord views and listen to the wind or the birds. Sleeping arrangements with room for 4 - 5 kids or 3 adults, also the loft with stunning fjord views. Toilet/bath with shower and washing machine. P accommodates 2 cars. Sun all day and evening sun:)

Sofiahuset has been in our family since 1908. It is now renovated and has all the comfort of a modern home as well as charm from the past. Conveniently close to the E16 road between Voss and Bergen. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

Sunny cottage by the sea – only 1 hour from Bergen Here you can enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the sea, take a dip on hot summer days (or a bath in the jacuzzi) Rowboat at your disposal from the 2026 season from April to October. Outboard motor available at additional cost. (use of engine, boating license if you are born after 1980) Fine hiking areas in the high mountains or in the lowlands. Can be available for private guided tour of the mountains in the immediate area.
