Explore our beautiful island by car, or by boat on the fjord in great nature. You can also drive 45 min by car to the city of Bergen, the capital of the west that we love so much!

Here you can enjoy the lake with the boat located in the jetty, 5 min walk from the house. 45 min drive to Bergen. In the surrounding area you can take mountain trips, visit the beautiful beach as well as sand volleyball and tennis court at Hjellvik, 2 km away. A 14-foot plastic boat from 2021 with a new 6 hp located in the jetty 400 m from the house is included in the rent. There are also 2 bicycles in the basement. Osterøy is a great starting point for nice mountain trips. Tirevollfjellet at 303 meters above sea level, is 1 hour walk from the door.

Cozy cottage

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Mountains right behind the house with several hiking opportunities, and lake below. In summer, a SUP board can be borrowed by appointment. The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise, many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, about 35 min by car. You can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 minutes.

Welcome to our house, located in a quiet area by the sea in the northern part of Bergen. The house is about 20 minutes from Bergen city centre, and it can accommodate up to 9 people. The house is perfect for a relaxing holiday or as a starting point to experience the beautiful country. Large deck overlooking the sea. Good bus connections and several grocery stores a short walk away. Sea and mountains just outside the door. Great hiking opportunities nearby. Possibility of a boat trip in the summer.

You will love my place because of the location, the outdoor area, and the atmosphere. New kitchen is installed in June-2018. It is perfect for couples and solo travelers. The place is 25 min by car from Bergen city and only 10min to both Arna and Åsane (with small shopping senters). It is desirable that you have a car, because public transportation is about 25 min away by foot. The location offers great hikes in the mountain and other beautiful trails in the woods. Great view from the studio.

Quiet place, with the fjord, nice to enjoy late sunsets or a kayak trip. You can fish right from your own quay, take a morning swim from the jetty or walk straight up the mountain. There are many nice hiking opportunities. Take the SUP board to the store or the brewery house. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the store, or Møllehuset which produces local seaweed and beer.
