Stay in the countryside in beautiful Maridalen but still within Oslo. The cabin “Drengestua” of 43 sqm. is located in the yard between the stable and the host's house on a horse farm. Here it can be relaxed in rural surroundings, experience trips with everything Nordmarka can offer, but still live close to urban life in Oslo. CAR: Only 12 min to Nydalen with shops, restaurants and public transport to Oslo city centre. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Bus stop 5 min. to walk from the cabin. It takes 18 minutes by bus to Brekke and 25 minutes to Nydalen.

The house was completed in 2020, built of wood, and has a huge garden right by the seaside. Brønnøya is 30 min from Oslo by bus, there is also a cozy ferry from Sandvika and out to Østre-Brygge which is 150 meters from the house. Parking space on Nesøya is included. Very good rooms inside and outside, with nice view out to the sea. The house is located on a car-free island, where it is possible to go for long undisturbed trips. If desired, it can accompany a safe and good boat, at a pleasant price.

The house has a large fenced plating with its own pier, small beach and fantastic sun conditions from the morning until the sun sets over Askerlandet. Two kayaks and SUP available for trips to the fjord. There is also a jacuzzi with a lovely view inwards towards Oslo.

A west-facing terrace with a laugh for the wind makes barbecue and outdoor dinner a cozy experience

The cabin is a modernized log cabin with plenty of light, a nice veranda and large outdoor areas. Short way to Oslo by car or bus. If you work in Asker, Bærum or Oslo, it is a nice opportunity to commute to work from the cabin. It is about 15 minutes to walk to the cabin from the cable ferry from Nesøya. In winter there is a floating bridge over the strait.

This offgrid cabin is placed on small mountain with stunning view. It is 25 km from Oslo and 6 km to the nearest bus station. This is an offgrid house with no public water or electricity system. Water comes from private water tank (you have only 1000 liter of water) and electricity is from solar-panel. Maximum 5 kWh and maximum power is 1500 watt.
