The house is located on a small hill, with views in all directions – towards the sea, the mountains and the open landscape around. Here, most things are within easy reach – museums, galleries, cafes and shops. A good starting point for swimming, short/longer mountain hikes, climbing and bouldering, as well as cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in winter.

Hytten har store panoramavinduer for å ta inn den enestående naturen utenfor. Høy standard gjør at oppholdet blir bra selvom det kan være dårlig vær ute. Lyngvær ligger midt i hjerte av Lofoten med 15 min. til Henningsvær og 20-25 min. til Svolvær. Hytten er et meget godt utgangspunkt for fine dager i vakre Lofoten.
