Many possible activities: canoeing, Gabares rides on the Dordogne, castles, villages, caves, museums, restaurants, flea markets... etc.

This charming little cottage with exposed stones is located in the Empié estate, designed as a hamlet. It is independent, without adjoining, with a private terrace on the orchard side. In summer, the estate has picnic tables in the woods, a summer lounge, a petanque court, a laundry (available on request, €5/machine) The 8.75 x 3.75 m swimming pool allows you to relax and cool off in peace. Everything is done to make you feel good, to disconnect from your daily life.

Halfway between the bastide of Monpazier and the famous city of Sarlat, the cottage is ideally placed to offer you the charms of the countryside and the visit of the great sites of Périgord. Surrounded by an orchard, you can enjoy seasonal fruit and eggs from our hens. This is a farm stay with many animals and there is no wifi.

We welcome you to an outbuilding of our house, former sheepfold, which we have passionately renovated to offer you a stay in nature, close to the Dordogne Valley. Quiet, secluded, the sheepfold is ideal if you are looking for a haven of tranquility to recharge your batteries at the edge of the forest. The location also allows you to enjoy the beauty of the Dordogne, its rivers, caves, restaurants and small villages.

The property is nestled on the edge of a small chateau estate and the owners are the only neighbours within view. Perfect for a romantic winter getaway!

The house is close to our main home but remains totally independent. Available all year. Pets are welcome, including horses that we can accommodate in the meadow with an unfenced shelter.
