Chaloupka U Dorotky is a stand-alone cottage on Palčovka Mountain in the village of Huty, near the Western Tatras and right at the entrance to the Kvačianska Valley. Originally, it was an older mobile home that my wife and I lovingly converted into a cozy mountain cottage. It’s located behind a stream, a short distance from the main cottage, so it offers more privacy and the tranquility of nature. Inside, there is a wood-burning stove that creates a cozy atmosphere. An ideal place for relaxation, hiking, and the tranquility of the mountains. Guests can also enjoy the barn, the cellar bar, and the summer terrace on Palčovka.

The place, created by our grandfather, has been a gathering place for our family and friends for over 30 years. On the ground floor of the shepherd's hut, there is a kitchen with a dining room, a living room where you can warm up by the fireplace, and a bathroom. Fishing, swimming, boating, horse riding, hiking or just relaxing under the trees with the view of "Birds island" with more than 2000 birds or "Slanica island" with a gallery on it. Two apartments, a modern bathroom, and a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The house is 150+years old - it is cozy, freshly reconstructed, and well-maintained & equipped. You can reach Gubałówka on foot(1 hour) and go by ropeway to Krupówki (4 minutes). Surroundings: hiking and cycling routes, ski slops!

Great communication: 20 minutes by car to Zakopane, 5 minutes to Chochołowskie Baths, 400 meters to the Witów Ski lift. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a sauna, the other with a bathtub, over which we installed a steam fireplace), a spacious living room with a fireplace and a kitchenette.
