Holiday houses in Orange County

A wonderful place to stay. As a host Matthew goes the extra mile. We stay here every year and this year my 7 year old niece visited and is now making plans for next year. Family memories in the making. Thank you for sharing this special place. It's always a joy to go and stay.

Good location, close to shopping especially grocery. Extremely well stocked kitchen.

We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to explore the surrounding area much, but Adrienne’s property is stunning! We utilized the fire pit one night and it was perfect! The kitchen is well stocked and the house is beautifully decorated and CLEAN! Not an issue for our party at all, but there are a lot of stairs. We would rent this home again in a heart beat! Thanks for a great stay!

Chad was an incredible host! He was extremely accommodating with any requests we had. The views from his place are breath-taking! We enjoyed snowshoeing from the backyard onto trails in the woods. I fell in love with his cat who visited daily! He kept the driveway plowed and salted in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend his place!

Home was beautifully decorated and had everything we could ever need. Super clean and furniture and amenities were amazing! Beds were super comfortable. Very peaceful. Deer, geese, rabbits in backyard. We really enjoyed our stay.

our stay in vermont was amazing! the hosts were very quick on getting back to us about any questions we had before and during our stay. the airbnb was in a perfect location, about 10 minutes from downtown montpelier. the airbnb was exactly as advertised and there was plenty of equipment for us to cook. 10/10 would recommend staying at thortsen and renee's place and i can't wait for us to visit vermont again! 😊

Patti was a wonderful host- she was very proactive in making sure we got to the location easily as well as providing ideas for us to do while we were there. The place was wonderful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful trees. I would recommend this to any leaf peepers or someone wanting a quiet Vermont getaway.

We had another great year, our 4th, at Emily's cabin! As always, it was clean and well maintained. You would never know that so many people and dogs have enjoyed this place. It was spotless. Also, the kitchen and the toiletries were well stocked and Emily would check in to see if there was anything we needed. We spent the week exploring Vermont. We made a couple trips to hike with our dug, Ruby, at dog mountain. Made a trip to purchase enough maple syrup to last all family members for the year. And took a scenic drive to Moose Bog Trail where we sadly saw no moose. Ruby enjoyed romping with Darla. She would watch up the driveway until Darla came down to play. Darla is so sweet and the two of them loved playing keep away with sticks. Our advice is to get some farm fresh eggs from a stand in Ryegate, a loaf of fresh cinnamon raisin bread from the truck stop/bakery and make some french toast with Vermont maple syrup on top. We are looking forward to our next visit!
