Holiday houses in Onaping Lake

Highly recommend this place. It was beautifully decorated and lots of attention to detail and a wonderful welcome basket. We have family in Sudbury so we plan on staying here many more times in the future.

Review: The tiny house was cozy and well-designed, with two comfortable queen beds—perfect for a couple or close friends. The sauna was a great feature and heated up nicely. The kitchen is small and doesn’t have a full stove/oven, but the hot plates and convection oven worked well for cooking. A clean and relaxing spot for a getaway!

Very nice place, looks newly renovated and had such a nice spacious atmosphere. Was able to enjoy our Christmas holiday together with my son who’s a student out there. Host was very considerate to allow us to stay over the holiday! I would definitely stay here again! Thanks 😊

Great place, awesome neighborhood, and quiet area. Nice environment to relax and enjoy yourself. Bed was a little stiff but other than that it was a great stay.

We absolutely loved our vacation cabin getaway at Bob and Darlene’s. We had KC to welcome us upon arrival 🐾 Bob and Darlene prepared delicious meals and made sure we were comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. The cabins are warm and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Jeff’s place was great! Bright, clean, lots of room. We loved the table and booth-style seating for playing board games. Couch was comfy and there were lots of blankets available to make it cozy. Bed was also very comfortable and plenty of good pillows. Loads of clean towels provided. We did use the hot tub which was nice and hot – a great feature after a long day. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay; everything was easy to find. For those considering booking, be aware you do have to use the door shared with the (very nice) downstairs tenant and then walk around the corner of the house to get to the hot tub – not a big deal!! just something to consider when planning; I’d bring a coverup, some beach towels, and make sure you have sandals for your feet. The hot tub itself is HUGE and very hot; it was awesome and worth the trek! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Jeff as a host and the place as a location; we’d love to stay

The off grid cabin was exactly what I was looking for! I had my dogs with us and Joel was so awesome helping us take our luggage over and the dogs when we needed him! beautiful views all around and the next guy sky's are breath taking. never felt so close to the stars! we went hiking a lot away from the island, onapping falls is only a 40 min away and science north and dynamic earth are a must see as well and only 25 min away! lots to do on the island, we got rained out but lots to see on the canoe, places to fish, warm fires and again beautiful night sky's. looking forward to staying here again with warmer weather and more trails to explore!

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and dishware and utensils were very clean, and the living room was inviting.

Kim’s home was a beautiful little oasis! It was warm, cozy, and just felt like a little piece of heaven to relax for a week. Had everything you needed, the beds were so comfortable, I have never slept so amazing. Neighbourhood was quiet and felt really safe. Would definitely book again, hopefully when it’s more beautiful outside. Thank you Kim for sharing your cozy beautiful home!
