We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful and peaceful rural outlook but close to shops. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super comfortable. Also very good value for money compared with nearby places.

Fantastic location and brilliant deck in an idyllic setting. House was well set up and perfect that we could take our small dog. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend.

Linda's Air BnB is the epitome of a home away from home. There was nothing you could want for that hadn't already been provided in this home. The furnishings were all comfortable, as were the beds and the kitchen is fully stocked, including the freezer with an amazing selection of breads, all available for the guests. Puss Puss was great company and some guests had drawn some amazing pictures of the cat in the visitor book. Turned out that our cousin and his friend had stayed here about a year earlier and had nothing but great things to say about Linda and this gorgeous home. Thanks for having us Linda and for making our quick weekend visit to New Plymouth a happy and memorable one. Would love to come again!

Tyler and Zoe really went above and beyond an air bnb hosts duties when it came to our stay. My 80yr old elderly mum checked in initially and was at the airbnb for a couple nights before other guests arrived. My mum had issues using her mobile and was unable to contact family in Australia or in NZ for help. But she was able to get a hold of Tyler who without hesitation went to the house to assist a very distressed elderly women. He offered to help organise food or anything that my mum needed and was very generous with his time and help. Shout out to the person boarding in the studio downstairs of the house who was so helpful in helping mum when she needed to go to hospital. The hospitality received from these hosts is truly remarkable and our family will be forever grateful for all the support for my mum. Thank you again x We will definitely rebook next time we are in the area, would highly recommend this stay.

Jennie without question, is the perfect host, her star ratings go beyond the obligatory 5. This is one of the best Airbnb properties we have stayed in. Beautifully presented with all the facilities you could wish for and plenty of them, including games for children. The local amenities, park, beach were all within walking distance. When staying in New Plymouth, Jennie’s home must be the place to stay and we will definitely stay again if we return to NZ. In addition, the welcome breakfast pack was remarkable, two loaves of bread, milk, mini pots of butter/preserves, marmite box of cereal, eggs, crisps, snack bar confectionery, sweets, tea and coffee were provided by Jennie. Our 6 night stay could not have been better and we were sad to leave. Thank you Jennie, your home, personal touch and facilities were absolutely premium class. Take care.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was super clean, beautifully kept, had everything we needed, and was also close to the CBD area. Braeden was a wonderful host, so friendly. Also, kept a chocolate for us, which was a nice gesture. Would 100% recommend and would love to stay again!

Beautiful house, easy to access and friendly, flexible host

We came down from Auckland for the International Female Riders Day (motorbikes) and the unit exceeded expectations. Clean, bright and modern with super comfy beds and a lovely big outdoor seating area, with gorgeous views overlooking the ocean. It is alot bigger than expected, with full kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. Plenty of parking space. The location was private and off the main roads, which meant we didn't have to worry about the security of our motorbikes. Wendy was a great host, and I would recommend this airbnb to anyone without hesitation.

Loved our stay at Sue’s place. It is very spacious and had everything we needed. We especially loved the living area where we stayed most of the time watching movies. Sue provided breakfast food which was a pleasant surprise and we greatly appreciated that. Definitely recommended!

We loved it and were sad to leave. Even though they lived on ground floor, we had a very private space. Friendly hosts. Nga mihi korua xx

A great place for attending an event at the Bowl of Brooklands, like WOMAD. Lesley gave us a great tip on how to bike into town avoiding roads. Also loved seeing a pūkeko strolling along the deck outside our unit.

We loved our time here. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt at home. We travelled with 2 children; they enjoyed walking around the property and made best friends with Ricky, the dog. Lovely cottage, peaceful location and great hosts. Highly recommend this cottage.

Rachel’s place was lovely. Spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and a well-equipped kitchen. Loved the espresso maker and the coffee provided, as well as the selection of tea. It was really quick and easy to get down to the coastal path and bike or walk into town or the other way. Highly recommended.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. She made us feel at home. She was helpful in providing recommendations and also happily agreed to drive us to the car hire place. Loved her place and the surroundings

We had a lovely stay. The space was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more. Martin was very welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We are travelling to NP multiple times a year and I wished, we would have discovered July’s place earlier. For sure our “home away from home” whenever we are in town from now onwards. Excellent location oy a few metres from town centre, large supermarket 200m away, close to the water front. Spotless clean appartment, well thought of amenities, full size kitchen, fast wifi and satellite TV. July has been a great host and super easy to communicate with prior arrival. What else to say…we will be back and can highly recommend July’s place for anyone looking for a “gem” in New Plymouth.

The room was just as beautiful and lovely as in the photos. It was well-equipped with cutlery and amenities, making for a very comfortable stay!
