The space is excellent, very welcoming and sheltered, even though it is in a place with houses around it, it is very private and with total privacy. The house has more than enough space and conditions for 4/5 people, everything tidy and quite clean. The pool is small, but enough to cool off from the Alentejo heat. As for Carlos, he was an excellent host, always available for any questions, always with clear and concise information. The check-in process was super simple, and the instructions were always clear. I plan to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet place.

really great communication from start to finish. Accommodation very clean and walkable to Moura which is a beautiful town. Also close to the river beaches which was recommended by Joaquim and I would also recommend. Also, special mention to Joaquim and his wife for coming to our aid when we got a flat tyre as we left the town. They immediately reassured us with kind words and called someone to come to assist us at the side of the road. They helped us despite being out of the town and on holiday themselves!! Cannot thank them enough. So kind and helpful people. Very organised and have good instructions and recommendations of the area, thanks again

if you don't like: the birds singing, the sound of sheep bells in the distance, bathe in a 15x5 pool for two in a green setting, not to mention the exciting discussions on history, geography, local crafts with Carlos... then go on your way!

Very nice and comfortable apartment, good location in a quiet area and close to all the emblematic sites of Merida. Nicol is very kind and helpful, she met me at the train station to take me to the apartment, which I really appreciate. Highly recommended!!

Joao met us as the house for check in - he was friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendations for close hikes and river beaches, including the google map links! The house was immaculate, beautiful with modern upgrades while still maintaining charming 100 year old historical details and furnishings. The private pool was 100% the best part of this stay. Not huge, but enough space for 4 or 5 to get in and have fun. Lots of shady deck seating, and the air conditioning in the house was great in the 37 degrees weather. With 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there was plenty of room for all 5 of us. Not a lot to do within the village, but essentials were met with a few markets and restaurants. It was a nice break to be in a quiet, sleepy village for our stay in Portugal. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, slow pace to your vacation. I would definitely stay again. The house is located on one of the access roads to Monsaraz, with the windows closed it was still not loud. Despite the extreme heat (up to 44°), it was pleasant inside, even without turning on the air conditioning. Everything was clean and well maintained. We only missed simple utensils such as shower gel, coffee filters and spices. Nevertheless, recommended!

Great accommodation in a quiet and pleasant area. The house is very welcoming, carefully decorated and equipped with everything it takes for a comfortable stay. On arrival the house was quite clean and organized. The terrace is perfect for relaxing, soaking up the sun and refreshing in the tank. Repeating, surely!

The location is ideal as it’s in a residential area walkable to the many tourist sites. The apt is lovely, and has 2 bathrooms which is handy.

We stayed 2 nights and liked it a lot, we felt very good and the house has everything you need for a few quiet days and rest. Very clean and organized and the house is very well located with easy walking access to everything you need. Elisabete was fantastic in following up throughout the stay, we really liked it. Very well-equipped house to accommodate its visitors very comfortably. The heated pool is phenomenal. The family that takes care of the house is attentive to the needs and treated us with affection. Ideal house for those looking for peace and quiet and it was exactly what we were looking for: a house with a pool that is not shared with anyone else, in a rural area.

The house is wonderful and the outdoor space is also very pleasant. Everything we needed was available and we really felt a unique comfort. Andreia was always available and is undoubtedly a superhost! The house is also well located, being about 10m from Reguengos, where we have several services and 10m from Monsaraz to enjoy the most historic part and the river beach. We will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Carla's place! The space was very clean, cozy and exactly as described. Carla was an amazing host—super helpful with local recommendations and always quick to respond. We had everything we needed and was in a great location with a nice pool. Would definitely stay again.

The little house is lovely - warm and homely. It is well furnished with a good hot shower and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of extra blankets (we came in the cold season). Parking is right outside the door and the back garden has a covered area as well as a direct sun area- chairs table and sun beds. There is a small laundry, lines and pegs. We would thoroughly recommend.

Another fantastic few days in this gorgeous space, love the selection of books on the shelves, well equipped kitchen, and very fast response from Lawrence and on-site (but at a distance) housekeeper. Cannot fault the house for a family break.
