Casa do Baco is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region. Come and settle in a historic Douro farmhouse with a wine estate to enjoy! Vald'arêgos Rural Tourism - Casa Cortiço

CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.
