Robins Nest. A beautiful, off-grid, tiny home

EvanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Jayne and the Robins Nest is an absolute delight. The cabin is located right off the road easy to find. The location is beautiful and secluded, with a stream running through the back of the lot. Tons of foliage(ferns and small pines) and downed trees which add to the charm of the cabin. It's truly like living in the middle of the woods. Jayne was amazing very accommodating and attentive to any of our needs. such a lovely host!! The cabin is quaint and lovely on the inside the wood stove was our favorite part of the stay. Composting toilet was a bit unusual at first but is just fine after the initial go. we will definately be back again to visit this wonderful off grid adventure.

Torch lake/Golf/Hiking/trails/Scenery

DonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The condo was exactly as described, and the location and view overlooking the golf course and Torch Lake were amazing. Clean, spacious, and relaxing! Peter was very responsive before and during our stay. Centrally located between Glen Arbor, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Mackinac Island makes this a great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Hilltop Hideaway

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with this Airbnb! The hosts were exceptional—warm, responsive, and attentive to every detail, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, clear communication, and local recommendations that elevated our trip. The property itself was stunning, nestled in breathtaking surroundings that felt like a postcard come to life. The serene views and peaceful atmosphere were exactly what we needed for a perfect getaway. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and a showcase of Molly and Ken’s artistic talent and craftsmanship. I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough—five stars all the way for the incredible hosts and gorgeous setting!

The Lodge - Tiny House in Elk Rapids

Britt's place is a lovely place to stay for a weekend up north. The location is easy to find and a number of bars and restaurants are within walkable distance. We had snow and everything was plowed, allowing us to get out and explore. The tiny home is beautifully decorated with a fully functional kitchen and a great use of space. I highly recommend the location.

Jim and Manie were so fun to meet, and the place was incredibly cozy and super clean! Lots of attention was clearly paid to the little details inside the space and making it a comfortable stay. It was also an easy drive from the property to local attractions.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The pictures don’t do the view from the main living room justice - gorgeous panoramic lakefront. The cabin was rustic but homey. We enjoyed curling up on the sofa with a good book, playing games at the dining table, and grilling out. Our two dogs had a wonderful time splashing around on the private beach. This location is very desirable in both its privacy and proximity to multiple other towns (Suttons Bay and Leland are very close, and Glen Arbor and Traverse City are easily drivable). So quiet and peaceful - would stay again!

Cozy Hideaway! 10 min to Torch, 30 min to TC!

Truly - Heaven! The Owl Tent was more than expected! Donald, Karen and Rachael were above and beyond hosts! Communication was great along with accommodations ☺️ When we arrived at the tent we couldn’t believe how amazing it was ✨ We arrived after dark and the directions we received earlier in the day were exactly accurate and made it easy to get to the tent! There was a wagon at the bottom of the trail to take our bags and everything up, which was extremely helpful ☺️ We used our phone lights and a flashlight to lead the way as the solar lights probably didn’t get much charge because of the cloudy/rainy day. The tent had everything we needed and more 🤗 It was so relaxing! Especially listening to the stream while sleeping and for relaxation during the day. It was such a Zen experience and we were able to connect with nature and better our souls . We were lucky to see an owl 🦉 We are already planning our trip back and highly recommend The Owl Tent if you plan to visit Northern Michigan
