Holiday rentals with lake access in Old Hickory Lake

Sallie's place was a great getaway for our family. Being right on the river, it was a perfect place to fish and swim. My husband caught the biggest fish I've ever seen!! Another plus was the brand new hot tub that was recently installed, which gave us a nice place to relax at the end of the day. All in all, it was a beautiful property that we would definitely visit again.

Ronnie is a great host! The house is beautiful spacious, and feels like home. Ronnie is thoughtful and makes sure that you have everything to be comfortable from extra linens to games and everything for morning coffee. He was great about checking with us throughout the week to see if we needed anything. Our trip was Christmas week and the outdoors was so beautiful and peaceful.

This place was absolutely beautiful and was a great place for a girls weekend get away. Elle, was always so responsive and was able to answer any questions I had. 10/10 do recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful place to get away with your family or a girls weekend. 😊

This place is great. Plenty of room. We had 7 adults & 2 children. The views are amazing from every window. Peaceful & relaxing. The porch is the best. We had our meal in (small children) and the the kitchen is adequate. We also had a tornado warning and Jamie called to tell us where to take shelter. Wish we could have stayed longer. Showers are good. Laundry good. Beds are comfy. Highly recommend.

Great place! Very clean. I would definitely consider staying again if we vacation in the same area. We appreciated having two common rooms for our extended family to stay together, nice bedrooms and extra sleeping spaces in basement common room, and good # of bathrooms. The deck was a nice place to sit/rock and enjoy the peaceful winter days (when warm enough). Basement (2 bedrooms and baths + a common space) was cold but mostly taken care of by quality space heaters. We liked being able to walk to the small marina and through the campground loops. Extremely quiet area during our winter holiday visit. I imagine there is more action in the summer (lake) months. Thanks for a quality stay!

Great country environment. This was our 2nd stay this fall and winter. I will say you will not be disappointed if you want to just get away from the hassle of crowds for some R and R.

Sarah was such a helpful and responsive host. My family is looking to relocate to the area and she was super helpful and gave soo many recommendations. She allowed for early check in and late check out. Proactively communicated down to when the landscapers would be at the property. The property is quaint and super relaxing. Sarah and I have even still been chatting as she has been soo helpful with recommendations for communities to look at, schools, realtors, etc. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing stay on Old Hickory!

Great spot, close to Broadway but secluded to give you some peace and quiet during the stay!

This place is perfect if you are visiting Belmont University, Vanderbilt University and music row! Most places are walkable!!! Downtown is also close! Very clean and above expectations! I will be staying here more as I visit my daughter. It is exactly as seen in photos!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Place is outstanding. In a great area with much to do and has great views. Host is responsive, provides great recommendations and clear instructions. Highly recommend this place.

Wade met me and let me in. Gave me a tour of the home with lots of local recommendations. Extremely helpful and super friendly. Jonathan called me later that evening to make sure everything was going well, and that my check-in was pleasant. Great hosts! Highly recommend. The home exceeded my expectations...was clean...and the location was beautiful!

We stayed a few nights for a girls trip it looks just like the photos has cute photo opportunities and great location can walk or scooter! James is very responsive and gave us all the info we needed for quick and easy access and check out. Overall it was a great stay and we would deff stay here again!

The property looked like the pictures. It was supplied with many more amenities than other Airbnb properties. Almost anything we could want was already supplied. They even had a pet station with supplies. We had a little hitch getting into the property, but were contacted immediately and it was promptly fixed. The property was beautiful, with lots of wildlife. The downstairs hvac system was very inconsistent, but we were able to make it work. The check-out instructions were very reasonable compared to other properties. Don & Dora supplied a very in-depth guidebook for the area. If we weren’t visiting locals already, it would have been very useful. Over-all, it was a very enjoyable trip in a very comfortable house.

We decided to stay here last minute and it was very peaceful and quiet. Jo Lynn was very nice and responded quickly with concerns we had. Everything was super clean and very well written instructions to follow to get to the cabin. We loved staying here and definitely will be back!

Had relaxing get away from Nashville! my son learned to fish and we enjoyed the town and beauty of the quiet town and lake. Would stay again!

Roberto fixed my issue immediately. Checked in on us a few times to make sure always well. I always knew he was easy to contact.

I was surprised when originally it said check in time was 5:00 PM couple days prior to checking in. I did reach out and he responded right away that nobody was there day before and we could check in anytime after 1:30 which was a huge relief. I had not seen a check in time when I booked. Everything about the place was as described and perfect. Note: there are no lights on the dock for night fishing. Matt at no time said there were and when I asked him if there was a place to turn on lights he actually said we could run into town purchase something and he would reimburse us. I thought that was going above and beyond. Fishing was great. It was a very nice place. I did pay more than I usually do after fees and taxes more than I usually do per night. After our stay I would be tempted to pay the money to stay there in the future. Matt is a great host.

This cottage is the perfect “getaway” cottage! So cozy and peaceful, especially the front porch in the morning with coffee and the evenings with a cocktail . Very convenient to Smithville but even more so to the marina. My favorite thing (among others) was the well equipped kitchen! Perfect for those who like to cook! Loved all the parking for cars and our boat. Finally, it was truly a pleasure working out details etc with Nicole. She’s the best and left no stone unturned to insure our stay was fabulous. We highly recommend this cottage and Nicole and look forward to renting again one day!
