The warm scent of wood and calm atmosphere unique to an old private house will soothe your soul, and you can enjoy meals and reading while listening to the birds chirping on the veranda and in the garden. We have a space outside that is perfect for barbecues and breakfast, and you can enjoy your meals in nature. There are also many sightseeing spots where you can get in touch with nature, such as Mt. Ontake, Lake Okutama, Kokusai Tsuriba, and caves, so it is recommended for those who want to spend an active time. The accommodation 'Shidamura no Hanare' is just over an hour's drive from the city, surrounded by the peaceful scenery of a nature-rich satoyama (traditional community forest)."Hanare in Shimomura" was named after our family business. The accommodation can be separated from a compact but private space, and you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons from the garden room.In this area, cars were not yet popular in the early Showa period, and mainly horses, cows, goats, chickens, etc. were raised and lived in horse shops.There is a renovated horse house on our property, making it a quaint space.The horse house is also a private space for guests.Children are welcome, up to one small dog is ok. In addition, although it is seasonal, you can enjoy shiitake picking, bamboo shooting, strawberry picking, yuzu harvesting, and more.
