Holiday rentals with lake access in Ohrid

A really beautiful spot with a stunning view of the lake. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Spacious family home in a heritage property on the lake front. Unusual to find this kind of property. Central location on the lake, restaurants, supermarket and bakeries 2 mins walk. Locally arranged parking. Responsive host. Great for our family. Folk music from local restaurants at night added to the charm.

The place is a lovely getaway, its in a quiet little bay with old houses that most of the old owners build themselves. If you want a luxury experience this is not the place, however if you want an amazing authentic Balkan lakeside experience this is definitely the place. The owner, Filip, was extremely helpful and friendly. The area is beautiful and it truly feels like you are in a remote village with all its charms.

Lakefront, great location. The place is clean and we had a pleasant day when the garden was beautiful.

When you arrive, you might think: where are we going? But once you get there, you’ll find a truly lovely, secluded spot that looks absolutely beautiful, neat, and well-kept. The cottage has everything you could wish for. And as a bonus: the host is amazing. She responds quickly, is helpful, and very thoughtful. She also helped us a lot with where we could park in Ohrid. All in all, we had a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Staying at Gordana's was a pleasure. The apartment is clean and located in a beautiful area. Beds are very comfortable. We highly recommend staying at this place, it was really cool !

What else can I say, the accommodation is ideally located in the centre of the village. The welcome is more than warm with Johanna so smiling and available. She accompanied us to the restaurant despite the late hour of our arrival at noon. Lin is a haven of peace after the tumultuous Tirana. We feel so good there that I hope to return soon.

This is our second stay at VillaChristina and we loved it just as much this time! The view from the living room is spectacular! The location is great, we walked everywhere and enjoyed a lot of the restaurants around. The beds are super comfortable, mattresses lovely, down duvets and super soft bedsheets offers a great night. We love the Nespresso machine and this time we even brought capsules with us as we knew we would take great advantage. Christina gave multiple advice on where to dine and we especially enjoyed Fresh fine Devine, it really is a must visit in Ohrid! We hope to visit again soon!

This is a couple traveling for a long time. I was the best host during my trip. If you're looking at the listing, make a reservation soon. It is right in front of the lake and has restaurants and supermarkets around, making it the best place to stay for a month. Thank you so much for waiting for the host to wait at the bus terminal to take you to the accommodation and explain how to use the accommodation supplies. Please always respond quickly and kindly and take care of your guests so that they can stay comfortably. I would like to thank you again Next time I come to Ohrid again, I want to stay.

Everything was very nice, it was an extra advantage in the central point of the location of the house, there is definitely someone who supports ohri people in everything that is really friendly. This was our second stay at Ivo's apartment. It has easy access to the city, yet it's far enough to avoid the city madness. Everything is exactly as shown in the photos and described in the listing. Ivo replies promptly to messages. We will definitely come back—if it's available.

Great apartment, modern and tidy, just around the corner of the old town and harbour of Ohrid. Two nice bedrooms, small but well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Communications with Biljana were quick and to the point. At a great price too, so a well deserved recommendation

Milka is a great host. You can communicate very quickly and she responds to questions very quickly. The house is beautiful, the location is good and the host is very attentive. An accommodation option that you can definitely choose.

We definitely recommend the home of Driton, an exceptional person. We received at checkin and gave several local tips. Host responds quickly, the home is very cozy and warm. Extremely comfortable bedding and bedding. The listing is very well located, practically in front of the beach and close to parks and many restaurants. The accommodation has basic utensils and has met all the necessities. We want to return!!!

Mrs. Maria and her husband are amazing. Although we only stayed at their place two nights we understood a lot. Kind , always available and helpful, they accommodated us in their lovely guesthouse and we didn't have the slightest complaint. The house will be our priority in future excursions to their places! I recommend booking the “Hangi” space offered as an extra amenity if you are company.

Summary: Superb experience! Maria's place is wonderful, situated in the centre of Agios Germanos, a lovely mountain village nestled above the Prespa Lakes. The property is located next to a little stream and one minute walk to the local Taverna. Maria and Thanos are perfect hosts, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Once you walk through the gate into their courtyard, you find yourself in a quiet little oasis with a panoramic view on the surrounding mountains. The accommodation was lovely, a main apartment split onto two levels, spotlessly clean with everything you need plus some welcome gifts. Other breakout spaces on the property were also available to use, e.g. an outdoor kitchen and dining area and lounge room supplied with drinks. We had breakfast on the lawn every day and Maria makes delicious local savoury pies and cakes. They also have an organic vegetable garden behind the main property where they grow just about anything you can think of. We were invited to fill a basket with aubergine, spring onion, courgettes, beans, potatoes, beetroot, cucumber, tomatoes ... The Prespa Lakes area is a paradise for nature lovers. Bird watching, hiking, boat tours on the Great Prespa Lake, or just a picnic next to one of the little streams. All this in a spectacular landscape of a tranquility that has become so rare in our days... And the nights are fresh, even in the hot Greek summer, so good sleep is guaranteed! If you want to reset and reconnect with nature, this is the place to be.

We had a great time staying at Maria's place! The house was spacious in a great location, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Maria was very hospitable and available whenever needed.

The house was a traditional almost 100 years old, putting you into the mood of the village and the surroundings. It was clean with a beautiful view of the Lake.

We booked both houses for 10 adults and we are so glad we did it. The houses are amazing and are within a few minutes walking distance from the public beach and the camp. The yard is very good and we enjoyed sitting outdoors even when there was a storm. I would highly recommend especially if you are booking both houses for a larger group or two families.
