Heery has left Hwangnidan-gil and created a peaceful and quiet new space near the Millennium Forest Garden in Namsan, Gyeongju. Enjoy a relaxing break in nature. Breakfast prepared in Korean (or Western) style is included, and We provide most amenities, including clean bedding, air conditioning, a private bathroom, shower supplies, and a hair dryer. El Hanok Stay

El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is located near Hwangnidan-gil restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (Olive), right next to the location where you can go to Gyeongju tourist attractions such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung, and Wolji. Jacuzzi in Hanok is available for a fee. It is 30,000 KRW in Korean money when using for a fee.

Gyeongju Hanok Sungeumjae (hanok stay sungeumjae)

This is a hanok, Sungeumjae, that retains the years that you can't see anywhere else. Soongeumjae is a house that has preserved the Sarangchae, which has been receiving precious guests for 100 years. I trimmed and fixed it myself without touching the old things as much as possible. There are two apple trees in the yard. When you're in a daze, when you're chatting, you can feel the subtle scent of quince. We offer welcome tea, welcome food, and a bottle of water to everyone who comes. All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood. Stay in a real Hanok and experience the authentic charm of Gyeongju! It will surely be a special experience. I can confidently say it will be special.
