There are greenery outside the window, and the islands of Setouchi, and the blue sea. On sunny mornings, you can watch the morning sun rising from across the island. We provide complimentary light snacks such as coffee and bread for you in the morning. It is also recommended as a base for cycling in Shimanami Kaido and sightseeing on Onomichi. Because it is along the main road of the island, there is car traffic, but it is accessible and easy to park. You can feel at ease for those visiting Japan or staying with your family. This house is dedicated to interior design.There is also a large bathtub, which is perfect for soothing away the fatigue of cycling. We have obtained a license for the hotel business and operate with peace of mind and safety.The building area is 72 square meters and the site area is 300 square meters. It is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and there are no shops or convenience stores nearby, so we recommend that you prepare what you need in advance (there is an okonomiyaki shop called "Bikkurodo" 13 minutes away on foot). If you're lucky, you'll be able to find the Japanese national bird, the pheasant.

It's a room in an old house located in the heart of Yumishima, just a little side of the main island of the Shimanami Kaido, in the remote island of Yushima, where you can only cross by ferry. The room is spacious with 8 tatami mats plus floor space. Equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Please use the shared kitchen. All restaurants such as supermarkets and taverns are within walking distance. Please note that there may be guests staying in other rooms in the same building. Please feel the relaxing time of the remote island that is not connected to the mainland by the bridge, so please relax and unwind.

This guest house is located in Yumigahara, Kamijima-cho, Yumigahara, on the border between Ehime Prefecture and Hiroshima Prefecture. This reservation is for a "Private Twin Room" only. In addition to the bedroom, you can freely use the living room, kitchen, two toilets, bathroom, and bicycle garage. You can bring your bike into the room on the first floor. The room on the 2nd floor has a view of the strait to Inoshima. We rent electric assist bicycles for 1,000 yen per bike per day. If you wish, we can arrange a walk with my goats.

A guest house renovated from an old private house in the heart of Bochujima Island in the middle of the Seto Inland Sea. Supermarkets, restaurants, and the harbor are all nearby, making it very convenient. Guests will use a Japanese-style room with 6 tatami mats. There are two other rooms in the same building that are sold as a domino room. Bokusha Island is only a few hundred meters from Injima, which runs through the Shimanami Kaido, but you'll find a relaxed flow of time unique to remote islands without bridges.

Sashima is a tiny island with only about 400 residents. Even within the Shimanami Kaido area, life moves at an especially unhurried island pace. Our house is a classic farmhouse plan in this area, rooms are separated by fusuma (papered sliding screens). You’ll stay in the Oku room with a tokonoma (alcove). Linger on the engawa (veranda) and watch the garden, take a stroll along the shore. The sunsets are spectacular. Enjoy a taste of island life in a nostalgic traditional Japanese house.

Setouchi Sea, Yumeshima Kaido, Guest House Michishio

This is a guesthouse located in Yugeshima, Kamishima, on the Seto Inland Sea, on the border of Ehime and Hiroshima prefectures. Reservations here are for "renting the entire building" only. It has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people. You can freely use the living room, kitchen, two toilets, bathroom, and bicycle garage. From the rooms on the second floor, you can see the strait with Innoshima. The guesthouse has two bicycles available for rent for 1,000 yen per day.

Yuge-island is only a few hundred meters away from Innoshima-island, which Shimanami-Kaido passes. You will feel a very relaxed atmosphere from the moment when you step on this island. Guest house tokonoma is a small accommodation which is a renovated old Japanese style house. We have 3 Japanese style bed rooms, kitchen, and living room. You will sleep in Futon-mattress which has laid on brand new Tatami. 5minutes walk from super markets and restaurants.
