Staying at Badra House was an absolutely magical experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the family, and it instantly felt like we were stepping into a home rather than just a rental. The personal touches and welcoming atmosphere made it clear that this was more than just a place to stay — it’s a peaceful paradise, and there is a warmth that shines through in every detail. The house itself is stunning, and stepping inside felt like being transported into a peaceful oasis. Everything was thoughtfully prepared for our arrival, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or more attentive hosts. If you’re looking for an authentic but magical experience in Ubud, look no further than Badra House. It’s a true gem!

Lovely house overlooking a rice terrace and small private garden including a koi pond and Bali hut. Each bedroom had its own large bathroom and are separated by a full kitchen where Putu cooked us delicious breakfast each morning. It’s short walk down the beach, and you can walk to Balian Beach at low tide. Wayan can also organise a scooter for you to hire. Backs onto the main road so unfortunately a little noisy with traffic, but otherwise we loved staying there.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely, cosy/warm and well kept home. Bed was super comfortable and fantastic shower/bathroom. Also appreciated the tea/coffee and breakfast supplies left by the hosts. The location is super convenient and only minutes walk into the town centre. Check in/out was painless and communication with hosts was fantastic throughout. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the Parisian style decorated cottage, lots of room everywhere! Attention to detail in small things is immaculate, the breakfast provided is generous and great views from the deck. Overall a very comfortable stay, close to some restaurants and shops.

We had an exceptional stay. Our host (and his family) were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond. Our room was as pictured/described and super comfortable. The bed and shower were both top notch - much better than elsewhere in SE Asia. AC worked well. The view and overall vibe are tropically delicious. Our breakfast was amazing every day. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit that our host grows on site - plus, he gave as an extra papaya for the road because he knew how much we enjoyed it! 10/10 - Highly recommend.

The house is nicer than the pictures. Kadek was really helpful with everything and responded to my every message instantly. They brought breakfast by the pool every morning and it was also very tidy and very clean. The location of the house was beautiful. It was very easy to get anywhere by walking or by scooter. Cleaning was done at any time. We slept and rested very cool and comfortably with the air conditioning. We did not encounter mosquitoes and strange insects. We had a comfortable and very nice holiday. Thank you kadek .

Such a lovely villa in such a gorgeous setting! You are truly in the middle of nature and sometimes it is inside as well as outside, which we personally found delightful. The outdoor stone shower is so cool, and the traditional Balinese ceiling and canopy bed were a vibe!! The patio is amazing and every single day they made us a lovely breakfast with coffee. The villas are at the top of the Sweet Orange trail and close to amazing restaurants. The family is so lovely and its so worth it to escape the busyness of Ubud while still having it all accessible from the peace of the jungle. The wifi was really fast and the AC worked great. These are a collection of villas, so it will be more or less secluded based on how far down your villa will be, so maybe ask ahead if you are preferring a more private villa! I will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The AirBnB that Jeannyfe provided was everything we needed plus more! They provided us with a warm welcoming home that had all we needed to make the perfect holiday complete. We felt very welcome and grateful that we were given the opportunity to share this beautiful space. Thankyou. We will definitely be back for sure!

We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

Quiet and peaceful stay, especially after an action filled day in Rotorua. Close enough to everything yet tucked away in a quiet street. Well thought out and you have everything you need. Thank you for having us.

The place was great. Clean, modern and comfortable and in a prime location being only a short drive to many of Canberra's attractions and very easy walking distance to a fantastically vibrant food and restaurant scene. I'm 55, my daughter is 25 and my grandson is 2, we all enjoyed the time in Canberra so there's something for everybody and this apartment was the ideal place to stay to enjoy it all from.

Private, modern and comfortable. A 30 minute walk to city centre, on a bus route also. Lisa was very helpful and informative responding immediately. Enjoyed exploring Launceston and day tour to Bay of Fires. Appreciated the food and chocolates provided. Thanks for a lovely stay, Lisa. Highly recommended.

Great location! Rich was very communicative and his dad, Paul was very friendly and helpful as well. Paul showed me where to take the public lift which led to the cable car and the nearest bus stop and guided me where different things were on a map he provided. He also provided me with a card that I was able to use for the bus and train which was very helpful.

Vicky and Jonnie have a nice bed and breakfast setup, with a very friendly and attentive staff. They are very connected to local services and options for activities. The food was delicious and hospitality was much appreciated. The pool tables were kept in pristine condition and the competition was ideal. If your a fan of billiards, this is the place for you! I would like to see a dart 🎯 board next time I visit ;)

Val was very welcoming and even picked me up from the airport and baked fresh bread for breakfast 😊 room was very cosy and clean with private bathroom. Perfect for my stay before setting off on the Heaphy and easy pickup from The Sands the next morning.

My friend’s and I stayed at Chris’ Airbnb for the weekend, and we had such a great time! Chris and her husband were warm and welcoming – they even surprised us with freshly baked muffins and rocky road, which was such a sweet touch. The place was spotless and cozy, and we loved relaxing in the spa in the evening. The location was super convenient too, with shops just a few minutes away. We really appreciated the balance of feeling right at home while still having our privacy. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would 100% choose to stay here again if we’re back in the area. Highly recommend!

I came for one night and it was simply great! The hosts were really kind and they responded very quick. And I am not lying when I say that the bed might be the best bed I have ever slept in. And I cannot emphasise enough how nice the hosts were 10/10 would recommend!

Pam made birthday cup cakes for my daughter which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Add this to the scrumptious date muffins for breakfast the next day was very much appreciated. Thank you for making our weekend stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Gill was a lovely host who was very helpful with any queries and information. The suite was comfortable, quiet, clean, the breakfast offerings were good, and it was a short, easy walk into the centre of town. The beach was less than a block away and there is a great trail to Opua from the end of the beach. As a solo traveler it was also nice that Gill accompanied me on a few outings in the area. I highly recommend Gill and her BnB!
