Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ocean County

The house was in great location to access the popular areas of LBI. The house was clean and perfect for the amount of people we had. The 2 bedrooms on the main floor was great to have for my handicapped mother.

This house was amazing to stay at. Very clean, the host was very responsive and detailed with the instructions when checking in. The house was clean, had lots of room and the location was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again!

House is nicely maintained. Well equipped with kayaks, crab traps, fishing rods and board games for those rainy days. Restaurants are close by. Quiet, residential area with a cute park about a mile down the road. Martha is extremely responsive. We would definitely go back next summer!

Our stay at Tuckerton Bay Paradise was relaxing, peaceful, and comfortable. From grandparents, adult children, grandkids, to grandpup, there was something for all. The home is well organized and beautifully decorated. The garage is stocked with water toys. The back yard and dock area kept up us well entertained. The best airbnb thus far for me! The house was just as it appeared in the photos -- with the exception that the backyard was even bigger than I imagined! Even though it was a holiday weekend, the neighborhood was generally quiet and the neighbors very respectful of each other. The house was so comfortable we went out even less than we expected and instead enjoyed reading at an outdoor table, sitting by the dock, sunbathing, and a Saturday evening firepit. A great place to vacation as a 3-generation group of 6! Thanks Kathy.

Ingrid's place was the perfect getaway for my little, LBI bachelorette party! The home was charming, cozy and full of personality. Each room offered a unique experience for me and my girls. The backyard gave way to a beautiful setting for our photos, the living room was our go-to spot for game night, and the dining area hosted all five of us for home cooked meals and shared laughs. All in all, it was the perfect spot that truly felt like home away from home. Thank you for providing us with such a lovely experience!

Great house far enough to be relaxing but close enough to grocery stores restaurants. The outdoor space is great for activities with equipment that the host provides.

Overall it was a great stay. It’s a beautiful property on the canal. Very spacious and tasteful decor with a warm comforting feel of home away from home. We were 7 people and everyone slept comfortably. It is only 12 minutes from the beach and LBI which is very convenient and were provided with 4 beach passes. Mary Ann was flexible with check out which was very appreciated. I would love to stay again but I do want to point out three things. They do not provide basic toiletries and towels like most B n B’s. Secondly, since it’s on the canal, there are lot of mosquitoes so make sure to pack some repellants or bug sprays. Although, we did find some only the day we were leaving. Lastly, the township requires a notarised tenant rental agreement but we found out about it only after booking the place. It would be nice to know about something like this in the listing as this can be a hassle for some.

We recently stayed at the Bridge House at Swan Lake Resort. We really enjoyed our time there. It's a beautiful, comfortable, well decorated home that has stunning views of the lake. There's a large wrap around deck that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the views. The kitchen is also quite large and has beautiful, state-of-the-art appliances. We were in town for a wedding and the location of the property made it very easy to get to the venue. We would definitely consider staying there again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Ideal for a quiet family weekend. It's beautiful and peaceful. The house is very nice and cozy. I would definitely come back.

We loved Swan Lake Resort! The house is right on Moss Lake where you can watch the resident black swans, white ducks, and Canada Geese (and their goslings) morning, noon, and early evening. It's a very peaceful spot. The resident's of the community are very welcoming and we even had a drive-by by Melinda, community resident and Paradise House housekeeper, on her golf cart. This stay was with family so we weren't opposed to the shared single bathroom, which connects to the two bedrooms (aka "Jack & Jill" bathroom). It worked out just fine. Would definitely stay again if we go back to Smithville. Thank you!

This was a last minute quick get away and let me tell you I was very much so at peace the host was very helpful and responsive if your looking for a peaceful getaway I promise this is the place for you !

My third time with Swan Lake and I find the location, prices, and cabins perfect for my needs. Very clean (not spotless), great kitchen with lots of counter space, comfortable beds and pillows, uncluttered, and in a quiet location. It's a little tricky to find, so make sure you use the map of the sites that they give you and not GPS, which is not accurate there. Host was very responsive to my questions. Convenient parking right by the door and just a few steps up onto the porch to get in. Nice layout inside. I will return!

A beautiful location with a lovely lake view. Access to trails, lake activities and a modern professional-grade gym. The community is friendly and helpful. The home and experience exceeded our expectations.
