We had a great holiday staying at Katerina's apartment. lovely walks nearby, good bus links into Bergen and supermarkets nearby. both Katarina and Jarle were great sources of information and very attentive. Thank you.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed this beautiful place. Even though its part of a bigger (beautiful!) house because it is across 2 floors the apartment feels spacious. It's very beautifully decorated and feels cosy and warm. The views across the fjord are incredible and seem to change every time you look out of the window. Aleksander and Johanne were responsive, friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant opposite is fantastic too. The only thing we missed was a comfy chair or sofa - and slippers for our little girl to wear on the wooden floor whilst she was rushing around at speed (bit slippy/splintery in a couple of places). I'm sure this wouldn't affect adults or older kids though! She LOVED the bath and bathroom! The outdoor deck area is lovely, despite a lot of rain during our stay we made use of it. There's a rowing boat you can borrow and sauna to hire too - we didn't as our daughter a bit young but would be great fun! A great place to stay in a beautiful part of Norway!

Beautiful log home and a wonderful Nordic experience staying in one of the most picturesque and beautiful place just outside Bergen! The house is well equipped, and has everything you need to make you feel at home .. our family loved the experience and will definitely return if we are in the area again!

We loved our stay here; you absolutely can’t beat the view and it’s super peaceful. The bathrooms in particular are really nice and were very clean! There is only one true shower as the master bath is a giant tub with a handheld sprayer but no curtain or hook for the handheld sprayer, but still very manageable and the other full bath has a stand up shower. We did not have a vehicle, but the host provided instructions with pictures for us to get to the house; we managed just fine with the 92 bus and train connection into Bergen. Be warned that the transit doesn’t run 24/7 though, so we had to schedule a taxi for an early morning airport departure. We would absolutely stay again; thanks for a great visit!

Quite possibly one of the best hoilday rentals we have ever used, would highly recommend it. We loved being able to use the boat and the local environment.

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

We had a truly wonderful stay at Monica’s cabin. The place is just as beautiful as described – if not even better. The cabin is cozy, stylish, and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen has more than you’d ever expect, which made cooking really enjoyable. The location is fantastic – peaceful and surrounded by stunning nature, yet still easily accessible. It was the perfect place to relax, explore the area, and enjoy the quiet. Monica was an amazing host – super friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. Her communication made everything smooth and easy from the start. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again – hopefully in summer next time

We are so happy we found this place! Great place where it was easy to find peace, both outside in the garden and inside. We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

Was a really lovely stay. Beautiful house and very very nice hosts. Susan and her family (and her dog!) were super friendly and helpful. It is around a 15 minute drive to the city centre, but we personally loved that it was in a quieter area with great views

Nice place close to fantastic climbing on Sotra on one side and Bergen on the other side. The hosts were quick to respond and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

You can't find a more peaceful cabin than this gem at Telavåg. All alone, facing the open ocean and with a view that brings peace to the soul. This is a rare item! Could sit for hours and just look at the horizon! I feel privileged - thank you so much for sharing "the good stuff", Kristin. I'd love to come back😊

We had a lovely couple of days at this place, the view from the balcony is as good as advertised. Bergen city centre is an easy bus ride away.

We had an amazing stay at Helene’s small beautiful farm. We loved everything about our stay: the little cute cabin, the baby lambs and their moms nearby, and wow the rushing creek, old saw mill, and the available canoe with the enormous, gorgeous lake to paddle on made the visit unbelievably beautiful. The refrigerator in the cabin was helpful as was the modern bathroom in the barn. The old stove was fun to cook on and we loved having a wood fire outside too. Note to other visitors: This is an active, working farm—a great place to relax and learn and you will also get a little muddy.

We had a great time at Karl Filip’s place. The place was spacious and as described. Light rail stop was a few steps away, and there was also a great bakery just around the corner.
