Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Nungwi

The apartment is perfect for walking to restaurants and enjoying the beautiful beach. Different to most airbnbs we’ve stayed at - Not totally private as it is more of a family hospitality feeling rather than hotel style airbnb. We appreciated the local recommendations and daily clean, comfortable bed, breakfast, meals on request, and the onsite general manager. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and flexible for timings. It is Zanzibar so expect some small hiccups such as short power/wifi/water cuts - a small price to pay for paradise.

Room was right on the beach! We were treated very well and the host replied quickly when we had questions.

The best place i would recommend.. Its the peaceful heaven i would have say... Mr.Boris... my man... he is always there for you... Olga is super friendly couldn't see her directly... but she helped me a lot though immediate response over the chat. The place is the best for the price and consist of 2 pools.

Excellent structure with a very friendly staff and always available. The place is very quiet and enchanting nothing to do with the chaos of Nungwi. Included is cleaning for every day. The house is equipped with everything we needed. If you're looking for a less touristy place, this is for you! We hope this area is always preserved like this!

I felt at home even before I arrived. David is the most hilarious and charming Air B and B host I have ever met. Full stop. He and Othman manage these bungalows impeccably. It's giving Sophia Lauren Marcello Mastroianni meet cute, it's giving bellinis and bossa nova, even the dog Gracie has style. The construction and design make the island wide power outages romantic. I refreshed myself in the gorgeous pool and lounged under a panorama of stars cascading through the African Sky. Every single detail has been considered. Perfectly designed for a long term stay. You will feel so welcomed that you wont want to leave. A flawless booking.

The villa more or less meets the description, needs some renovation. Close to the beach and kids loved the pool. The surrounding is not so nice because of construction all around. Very nice communication from Eliasa, thank you very much!

Great place to stay in Northern Zanzibar. My family of four had plenty of space in the house and we really enjoyed the pool and the beautiful sunsets. I recommend!

Beautiful location on the beach of Kiwengwa in Cairo in front of the sandy tongue. Very well restored house, it keeps the African taste intact with the right comforts . Excellent cuisine nearby and also wanting at home with the good Ramma, as well as a driver also as a cook. I loved the varied landscapes of the tides that created beautiful natural pools. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

This little pad was perfect. Quiet, secure and basically in the heart of Nungwi beach. Beach and restaurants were a 2 minute walk. Supermarkets a 1 minute walk. The accommodation has two amazing bedrooms each with ceiling fan and AC. Hot showers. Also you get an amazing breakfast with the stay. Fresh mangoes, pineapples and Avacado. Eggs on toast and an endless supply of coffee. Maurizio being the Italian host lent me his perculator and Lavazza coffee from the old country. Any minor issues Maurizio and Priska attended to asap and were an absolute pleasure. We stayed for three weeks and did not want to leave. Thanks again Maurizio and Priska

Very nice place to stay! I enjoyed the views of the ocean and you’re directly off the beach. It’s actually the best villa over there. Restaurant is a couple steps away and has good food but the chef is also talented. I’d definitely stay again.

Raul’s place was amazing, we had a great time there during our stay, the Villa is walkable distance to Nungwi beach and some places to eat around there. Staff was all very friendly and helpful Mr. Medi, Faki, Meki and Islam were all very kind, responsive and made our stay extremely comfortable. Would highly reccomend staying at this property again!

Small cozy house, comfortable bed, clean enough. Very hospitable and friendly host, sincerely ready to help for any issue. Nice location, near a wonderful beach. But, most importantly, do not expect European living conditions and you will not be disappointed.

Kudra was a lovely host. The place looks just like the pictures. It's very clean and spacious and quite close to Kendwa beach. Kudra was also really accomodating with our check-in and check out times as both times our flight times were changed by the airline. Would highly recommend.

I can only recommend the place, from communication to booking, to transportation from the airport to the welcome and accommodation to the apartment, we were happy with everything. The family apartment provides plenty of space and excellent cooking facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the terrace is superbly adapted to relax in privacy thanks to the grown beautifully blooming bushes. Next, the generous breakfast included and 2 pools, at least one of which we had to ourselves at any time. The area is very well maintained, the pools are clean and the surroundings of the apartments are cared for. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, as well as the beginning of the village, where you can shop for everything you need, and also observe the local life while walking. Thank you so much to the owners and the entire staff for a great stay.

The place is so nice and so center,it’s so easy to access all the important needs like restaurants,bars and beaches,we really enjoy it.

We stayed 7 weeks at Saids place and liked it very much. From the beginning we had 2 people whom we could anytime ask for help. We felt very safe at Saids place and did not even shut the appartment with a key since there is a big fence around the buildung. The area in which the appartment is located is rather quiet the village ist about 5 minutes walk away and there are not many tourists around. The walking distance to the beach and a very nice resort called Waikiki is about 5 minutes away. Said himself was very helpful and friendly. He invited us for a great homemade dinner (the best we had in Zanzibar) and repaired Christians bicycle. We would be glad to come back stay there and meet Said again.

I stayed at the Monolo apartment for two weeks. The apartment was beyond my expectations. I felt like I was at home and had no trouble with getting around. Everything was to my standard and Abdulkarim made sure everything was accessible and had no trouble. The place was sparkling clean and everything was in working order. I had no troubles with electricity and water throughout my stay. Abdulkareem shared he’s Netflix account too which was very kind of him to do so. The WiFi was very fast and had good connection. The security system was top notch. I would recommend this apartment to anyone that’s looking for a clean, private and home away from home. The apartment was very affordable and worth the pay. Thank you Abdulkareem for the lovely experience. I would definitely love to stay at your apartment whenever I’ll be in Tanzania if you’ll have me 😊
