Created by Carl Strandlund in Columbus Ohio, it consisted of prefabricated porcelain enamel covered panels inside and out making it durable and easy to clean. Easing the postwar housing shortage and its maintenance free design were its selling points. Our home is nestled in a residential neighborhood in north Evanston, 1.5 miles west of Northwestern University. The Metra Train is 2 blocks away and a quick walk to Central Street’s many fine boutiques and coffeehouses. The comfy suite is a room in our home, and shares a bathroom(s) with no more than two other guests from the peaceful suite. There is free permit parking in front of our house. Sorry, but the kitchen, first floor and laundry are not available, no ADA access.

Our 1 bedroom + den apartment is peaceful & stylish for your monthly living needs. Very quiet building, 2nd floor apartment with no neighbors above or below. Centrally-located 2 blocks from UP-N Metra, the apartment includes: stocked kitchen (no dishwasher), free shared laundry, free overnight parking (must provide license plate), and private sleeping on a king-bed with adjustable base. An additional twin bed may be added for guests (added fee).

A cozy room located in peaceful neighborhood, a perfect place to stop after traveling from O'Hare airport! We have a beautiful wild river, lake, and forest right in the backyard and surrounding our area, with wild life creating a cozy atmosphere, amazing to take walks. We are a 10 minute ride from the O'Hare International Airport, a 5 minute ride from a Metra Station, and surrounded by all kinds of parks and interesting restaurants.

Private room in a fully furnished home located 20 min from O'Hare Airport and 40 min from downtown Chicago. Situated in a quiet and fairly green neighborhood. There is a nearby theater, grocery stores, and a large shopping mall. Please note: for short-term bookings of 1-2 nights, we ask that guests reserve no longer than one week in advance.
