Chalet holiday rentals in Northern Hungary

We had a great time! Very cozy little place, the cats we met are very nice. The place is stocked with everything you need(makeup remover, board games, snacks, coffee, even popcorn!) We highly recommend it to everyone.

I liked the layout of the house, it showed creativity and individuality. We loved the Japanese "front room", where we could store the shoes there and didn't need to be avoided. Veronika's friend's natural cosmetics were waiting for us in the bathroom that we could test. I love it when I get to know the products of small business/producers, mainly made from natural ingredients.

We celebrated our friend's bachelor party at the Wooden Cottage, and it was fantastic! The place was immaculate, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We loved the spacious outdoor area, perfect for BBQs, and the jacuzzi was a hit, providing a relaxing touch to our stay. Highly recommended for a memorable gathering!

The chalet is in a quiet location, but it's easy to get to the train station on foot. The place was very well-equipped, and it looked like the details were created with great care. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment (dishes, knives, cutting board, even spices) for cooking. The washing machine, clothes dryer, and iron also make it easier to stay longer - unfortunately, we were only able to stay for a few days, but we'd love to go back! It was very nice to chill on the airy terrace in the afternoon, listen to the birds and admire the garden. Although the good weather didn't need the tile stove, it was beautiful and an experience to look at. Thank you for your helpful information and hospitality!

The perfect place if you need to calm down. Its totally private, and the hot tub on cold days is a must! Really enjoyed our time here! Anna is super friendly too.

The accommodation is very nice with its simplicity, a delightful little cottage in a shady wooded setting, it was completely comfortable for two people, andour dog loved it. We had a good time,we just found the kitchen to be a little lacking, it was just two of us,but we still felt like it could be equipped with more things. Nikolett was very helpful and always available.

The house was lovely, on a hillside with the forest adjacent. The stairs to the bedroom were a bit intimidating, but were fine once you were used to them. As a very tall person I learned to duck my head at the right time! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. There was some very heavy rain while we were there, so we needed to stay in for a whole day, but it was fine. Bükkszentkereszt is an interesting village and there's a good walk up to an observation tower with great views. Lillafüred is also worth a visit, with a waterfall and forest railway. Don't take the direct road to Miskolc - it's in a really bad state. We turned around and came back! A lovely stay - thank you, Karolina.

Perfect if you need to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big city for a while. Dog friendly and at the same time in a beautiful setting, with great amenities. Host Jan was very welcoming about our requirements, very friendly and ready to give advice. Likewise, his partner. Very nice people who take care of their farm with love. The environment is like a little paradise on earth. Beautiful nature, lots of animals on the farm, hens, bunny, peacocks, alpacas, donkey, sheep, ram, ostriches, Bernese mountain dogs, and Hungarian yawn, and Murko the cat. My 6 year old daughter was thrilled. The animals were also friendly. Feeding a baby sheep Meme right out of the bottle was the best, we also enjoyed horseback riding. There is also a pool in the summer which is amazing. We'll be back, we felt great. Being deep in the woods and having strong wifi and Netflix, that's great :) We stayed in cottage Karkulka, it was amazing, we didn't miss anything.
