From the large window of the Friland cottage, the view opens out over the Tagliamento River and the Val d’Arzino, which in winter become even more stark and tranquil, amidst clear sunrises and sunsets characterised by cool, intense colours. In the winter skies, with a bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the Eurasian eagle-owls and griffon vultures soaring from the nearby Lake Cornino Nature Reserve. From every corner you have a wonderful view of Lake Como and the mountains that surround it.

Our house in the woods is a typical masonry building that was renovated in spring 2019. An oasis of peace and quiet surrounded by nature, ideal for families or couples seeking relaxation and romantic intimacy. View of the Valchiavenna mountains, with large lawns for garden use. There is a cycle path a few metres away, and there are numerous excursion options. It is 10 minutes from Chiavenna and 30 minutes from Lake Como and the Valchiavenna Ski Area.
