Holiday rentals with beach access in North Elba

What a lovely place! Carlene was gracious and warm, and answered all our questions. And the apartment is lovely and very comfortable. And the view out the wall of windows looks over Lake Champlain, offering superb views and still preserving privacy. The yard is large and immaculately maintained, and the nearby causeway offers a trail to bicycle and walk with the lake on either side. I would definitely come back here again. Note that the drive to downtown Burlington is lengthier than I anticipated--about 40 minutes, depending on time of day. However, the seclusion of this home by the lake is what made it so worthwhile.

Tanner's place was picture perfect, with attention to the additional touches that visitors appreciate. Very comfortable and spacious, with intentional design and elevated quality. Although the weather didn't cooperate with our visit, you have a lovely little private deck area, you are less than a block from the water-front, and less than a mile from the cutest drive-in with the best fries you have ever had! I also recommend you check out Golden Hour - the sweetest little shop, in the most unassuming little strip of shops, just minutes away. Tanner was a very responsive communicator and very clear and easy house rules. Highly recommend!

Every little detail about this quaint apartment suited us perfectly! We were in a beautiful space that fit my family of 4 very comfortably! After a 6 1/2 hour drive without stopping for food we were beyond excited and thankful to be greeted with a homemade loaf of sourdough bread and a basket full of treats! The space is perfectly appointed and pristine! We were just minutes away from our daughter whom we were visiting at UVM, and minutes from the lake, river and pond for my husband and son fishing enthusiasts! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Our stay was peaceful and what we needed! We spent a lot of time outside kayaking and fishing so it wasn’t too important where we stayed - but wow. I am so thankful to have stayed with Kevin! Everything we needed and more was available in a clean modern space close to town! After our long days out and about it was nice to come back and be able to throw some food on the grill and lounge on the couch. Although we don’t plan on returning to the area, I 10/10 recommend this space for anyone looking!

One of the better air bnbs I’ve stayed at recently. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the amenities provided. Ryan was great at communicating and even did a check in with us to see if the stay was going well. Beautiful trail in walking distance from the place and had wonderful views of the local ponds. This was my first time visiting the Adirondacks and I would definitely consider this place for my next adventure there.

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

Great place with beautiful surroundings! Very close to the lake and town (which had some very good restaurants). The house was perfect for us and the bed was very, very comfortable! Location was also within an hour of some great places in the Adirondacks. Host was very responsive to any issues/questions we had, and while they are close, they left us to do our own thing. Would definitely stay again if I have the chance!

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! This is a beautiful, peaceful, and cozy mountain cabin with big windows, a fire place, and a lovely porch. We loved it. Moreover, it was within a short drive to Lake Placid, White Face Mountain, and numerous pristine hiking trails. We even got to Montreal for a quick peek, within two hours. We were lucky enough to have been blessed with a few inches of snow which decorated the pines, rivers and fields with winter magic. We had a great stay. Thank you John and Maria.

We enjoyed the backyard and kayaks immensely! Great yard for kids and pup to play in. Close to White Face, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Beds were very comfortable and so many thoughtful amenities. Jennifer was in contact with us to make the rental perfect! We hope to go back in the fall or winter in the future.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb while in town for the Adirondack CrossFit Challenge competition. The location couldn’t have been better - just around the corner from the Olympic Center, where the event was held, and within easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and coffee spots in downtown Lake Placid. It made our weekend so much easier not having to worry about parking or driving. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sonja was friendly and responsive, and we’d definitely stay here again for future events. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent place to stay on Lake Champlain. The house was kid friendly, which was perfect for our three young kids. They felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the peaceful, quiet beach. We hope to come back again next summer!!

We have celebrated the last two Thanksgivings here and couldn't ask for a more ideal setting or a more dedicated host. This impeccably furnished home nestled between the mountains and the town accommodated our group of 11 family members perfectly. Any questions or issues we had were quickly addressed by Andrea, whose helpful recommendations for the area and thoughtful little touches throughout the home made our stay truly special. Looking forward to returning!

Kelly’s place was the perfect home base for our triathlon crew to stay during our training camp. Kelly’s local recommendations were spot on, her homemade cookies were delicious, and we loved the area. We would definitely return!

Greg’s home is spacious yet cozy, a true home away from home. Gorgeous kitchen and living areas, comfy bedrooms, and lovely property, and just minutes away from beautiful Mirror Lake and the town - our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Greg was immediately responsive, kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back, thank you Greg!

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

We had a great stay here. The check in and out times were flexible which really maximized the time we had on our vacation. The location couldn’t have been better, town is just a few minute walk away! The amenities were also great, my family and I enjoyed taking out the kayaks. Overall great rental and could recommend.
