This cabin might not be for you...but if it is you'll love it. 5 minute walk from the beach. Set on the Chown river, 10 minutes from Masset, tucked away out of the wind. Stylish, pet friendly, cozy little cabin. Ideal for surfers who want access to the beach and do yoga or for a couple craving a romantic getaway. 1 bedroom and a loft, sleeps up to four people. This 15' x 24' cabin is crafted from Haida Gwaii Western Red Cedar, with post & beam, mortise and tenon refuge and is warmed by a wood fireplace. Fully furnished with a kitchen, dinette, desk and living room including a comfy fold-down daybed. It sleeps four comfortably (upto 5). The cabin has private parking, a private outhouse, on demand propane shower room, and tabletop BBQ provided.

Please enjoy the 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer, dryer and single driveway with room for 2 vehicles. Only a 12 minute walk to the coffee shop, 13 min walk to Co Op for groceries, 20 min walk to hospital, and 32 min walk to one of the many nearby beaches.

Rose Cottage is cozy and rustic, good for two, situated in a lovely meadow in the forest; however, it does have everything we needed for our 10 day stay. We particularly enjoyed the 40s style kitchen, the old china cupboard, and used the wood stove every day. No Cell Service, no TV (a Bonus!) but there was WiFi and the electric heating panel. We spent many a morning coffee on the veranda listening and the only sound was hearing bees in the rhododendrons. We plan to return next year and will be booking Rose Cottage again for a relaxing stress free stay.

As a family of 4 (all adults), Maria's place offered us the space that a hotel just can't provide and a sense of being together at home. Kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal. Beds were very comfy. Linens and towels clean and I loved the extra touch of candles by the fireplace. Would highly recommend and will stay here again.
