Hello, my name is Jeff. Farmhouse Getaway has been in my family for 50 years. I have been a farmer/electrician for 30 of those years and my family still use the property for family events and overnights stays. The house had a remodel/modernization in 2022. After the changes, I decided to share it with friends and just recently with the public. The home includes 2, full bathrooms, 4 beds, a full kitchen, and ample parking. City lights are faraway. Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

We are located in the center of town near a grocery store, Dollar General and only 150 feet away from the Guttenberg Brewing Company! This unit is the west side of a duplex that has its own entrance, amenities and is completely separate of the other Airbnb in the duplex, Hayden's Hideout.
