Resort holiday rentals in North America

Overall, this place was very cool! For us it was just a quick stop the night before our flight, but you could definitely stay there and enjoy the pool and property for a few days. It's 5 stars for staying in a cute little bungalow (not 5 stars like a resort. I'm not saying this as a negative just clarifying as I feel there is a difference). Bed was super comfy!! Good restaurants are about a 30 minute drive. The property was wonderful and gated and felt safe, but the overall area where it's located did not seem awesome. You probably aren't walking anywhere from here, but as long as you don't mind the drive then it's fine. The only semi negative thing I noticed upon arrival (I suppose the pictures made it clear and I just didn't take note), was that there is no where to all sit and hang out inside. The kitchen table has 2 chairs. If you have 4 people and wanted to all eat there, 2 would be standing, or sitting on a bed. Michelle was fantastic as far as communication and suggestions!!

unfortunately we only spent one night at Hanging Horn. It was a beautiful setting and would have loved to spend more time exploring the area.

Everything on Sandi's end was perfect!! We only had a minor hiccup with checking in due to the resort's system having a moment but that was easily cleared up! She was an absolutely wonderful host and her instructions were incredibly clear and helpful. She was very kind and made my first Airbnb experience wonderful. I will most certainly be booking with her again when we go to Reno again.

Historic Powhatan Resort is a great place to stay. Clean, beautiful grounds. Pool was lovely, plenty of space, kids side and adults side. Nice Staff. Perfectly located for exploring the area. Close to groceries, good resaurants. Very quiet when we were there, but it probably depends on who is placed next to you. The unit itself was HUGE for 4 of us. We all had our own space if we wanted it. Clean upon check in, some where and tear. Beds very comfy. Kitchen was appointed with just enough tools to function, if you like to cook bring your extra tools and supplies. Ants and millipedes came into the unit at the end the trip, but I assumed it was due to the rains. Locals appreared unphazed, so I guess its a Virginia thing. Tania was responsive on the few questions we had. Totally recommend!!

We had such a great week on Kaua’i at Neil and Andrea’s place! The room was super comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect home base for exploring the island. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Would definitely come back!

Honestly such a great stay! Because of the holiday and the restaurants on site, parking was a little tricky but if you don’t mind walking a bit, there’s plenty in the side lot. You can’t beat the amenities on site and the view from Michelle’s unit is gorgeous. Can’t wait to stay again soon!

The host, Beth, is extremely responsive and a great communicator. She added my wife to the discussion so that we would both be informed. The Casita is great with easy parking and central in the resort. We would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at Terranea as you have all of the resort amenities that you would receive by booking through the resort directly.

This was our second stay at the Casitas and it was another great experience. Rita and the staff once again provided excellent service on top of a great place to stay. You won't go wrong making this place your go to in Zihua! An excellent spot for access to all that La Ropa has to offer and just a short ride into downtown for some shopping or whatever adventure you have in mind. It was the Guitarfest 2025 for us this time, but you can rock it at many downtown spots if you miss the festival week and musid is one of your things. Last year we just chilled it poolside and down at the beach. Plenty of food spots nearby and if you just feel like staying in for the day, well Marguerite is the resort chef and an excellent cook. And if you're looking for an great massge you should really check out Alejandro! We both wish we had gotten massage from him last year but now we know. And he comes to the resort on appointment so get him booked quick! I'm very certain Rita would get him booked for you

We stayed for the ease of getting to universal. Had amenities of a hotel without the big price tag. plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. highly recommend if you plan to stay for a few days.

Just book it if you're on Kauai -- it is all that you see in Lorna's photos and read in her reviews. The room has everything you would need and want in a resort BUT the view takes everything to the next level... The bedding and mattress are high quality. [Note: the mattress is on the softer side if that is important to you.] I loved the large new Keurig and To-Go mugs. You're steps from the tropical pools and the Lounge, while pricey, has good value Apps during Happy Hour. And, yes, factor in that paid parking if you rent a car (Lorna is so clear about that). Admittedly, we have rarely stayed at resorts but everything about Lorna's place brings our heartiest recommendation. Thank you, Lorna, for everything!

My boyfriend and I stayed here a long weekend and we have to admit that this place was lovely and perfect for our vacation. Extremely clean and cozy with a great view and a convenient location. Great atmosphere and the hospitality was incredible. Totally recommend it for you and your loved one to relax and enjoy life.

I highly recommend this condo!! It was pristine!! So clean, so nice and well done!! It's clearly had amazing upgrades and it's a perfect spot for the ocean view and right down to the beach and pool!!! Bill was amazing to communicate with! We will be back!!!

We had a blast. This room might be the best in all of West Bay. The views and location would be hard to beat. We loved sitting on the patio every morning having coffee or having a drink watching the sunset. All the amenities of the resort. Great location on the beach. We walked everywhere the whole week. I wore shoes less than 10% of my time there. We loved relaxing in the calm clear ocean right outside the room. Good snorkeling literally less than 50 yards from your doorstep. Ground level was really convenient for popping back in the room for snacks, drinks, sunscreen, pool gear. Just steps from a never crowded pool and restaurant area. Looking forward to booking again.

Had an amazing stay at the resort. Excellent food, amenities, and accommodations. Far exceeded our expectations. Allan explained everything in great detail and even helped arrange airport transportation. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The complex exceeded our expectations with its three pools and two delightful restaurants. We especially enjoyed the more casual dining option, where watching the tarpon swim by was a real highlight. The condo offered breathtaking views, and the balcony was fantastic, providing a perfect sight of Coral World across the water, which we visited and the kids absolutely loved. I also appreciated the extra fans provided; while the bedroom stayed comfortably cool, the living room was a bit warmer for the kids. The ceiling fan was a nice addition as well! There were plenty of towels available, which was great. We’re already discussing a return visit in two years! Thanks for having us!

We have stayed multiple times without any issues. The condo is always very clean and comfortable. Dawn and Jim are wonderful hosts and always responsive if we need anything or have questions. Will continue to stay in the future.

Wonderful stay with beach access! Host was very friendly and willing to help when we left some things behind after checkout 😬. It was such a great space for us to use as our son competed in the world archery competition!

I was there for my daughters wedding which was absolutely amazing! Israel was so helpful with all my questions and helped with things like transfers and the salon etc! I would 100% love to come back and Israel will be my go too!

the room was very accommodating,very clean, location was perfect. Han was very polite and would answer my question right away. The valet service was amazingly kind and polite as well as the service people, would highly recommend this place

We absolutely loved our stay here!! Marianne was super helpful and easy to get in contact with. The resort is gorgeous with easy access to the pool and beach. All our excursions were within 30 minutes of the resort. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful unit in The Grand Sandestin. This was my second stay here. The unit is clean and well appointed. Easy access to the unit and the parking garage. Walking distance to The Village of Baytowne Wharf where there's always something going on.

Chas was amazing throughout the entire booking process and answered any questions we had as this was our first time to the bahamas! The room was perfect for us and the location was amazing. Atlantis offers a shuttle that takes you all over the resort so we utilized that a lot and bounced between different pools and beaches. All of the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. And being able to stay at harborside and have access to all of the atlantis resorts is an insane bonus. We got engaged during our trip so the bahamas will forever be very special to us and we will definitely be back!! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The room comes with a full size fridge + micro wave so that was very helpful. One thing to note is atlantis is completely cashless, they will charge you $100 per day which you then use as a “credit” toward your food and drinks. Anything you spend above that, they charge you per day. Worked for us but we did bring cash which wasn’t really necessary :)
