Cabin holiday rentals in Normandy Lake

This was really a beautiful place, it is looked brand new inside and they had a great amount of supplies, everything you would need for a great stay. We gathered in the family room, loved the huge kitchen and high end appliances, and really enjoyed the hut tub, fire pit, pool table, and views. Just a super place at the top of the hill. We stayed for my wife's 60th birthday and had a great experience.

Such a great spot for a cozy, stay in kind of weekend. Lots of good hiking near by as well. Very quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed. Very responsive and kind host. Would love to come back next year for another stay!

The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The small details made the difference compared to other properties. For example, the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen had measuring cups. The re were small battery powered lanterns that were great at night. The path to the fire pit was lined with solar powered lights. All the small details matched the description of luxurious. We loved watching the wind on the water, turtles sunning themselves, jumping fish, frog songs and blue heron tiptoeing through the water.

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

Fiancé an I wanted a private get away, had eveything we needed, amazing view, nice to wake up to the birds chirping.

We enjoyed our Stay at Micheal's cabin, the cabin was perfect for a quiet and calm getaway that we needed. We visited Twin Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Road horses on the way to Fall Creek Falls, and went to the Amish Market that offered amazing bread!!

Cynthia was so nice to allow us to check in early! She greeted us personally and treated us with a special bag of baked goods! We also loved being within walking distance to the Fiery Gizzard trail. An overall wonderful experience!

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Pelham Pointe. It is in an ideal location if you want to see a show at The Caverns. The cabin is beautiful and just like the pictures. We had a minor issue and had to call South Cumberland Getaways for assistance. They were quick to respond to our issue and get it fixed on a Sunday evening. One thing not mentioned in the description is that the driveway is very steep (it is up on a mountain top). We drove up in a minivan and were worried it might not make it, but we did! It was worth it for the views.

Awesome cabin and property! Very comfortable and perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. We loved the front porch and bird watching. Very clean and charming. We had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and answered our questions promptly. Would stay here again!

We stay almost exclusively in home rentals and this is easily in the top three. It’s lovely and nicely decorated with antiques. The beds, couches and chairs are all comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms are very pretty and comfortable. The location on the river with the dock is peaceful. The owner, nice. WiFi was good for work. We stayed nine nights and didn’t want to leave. The house feels authentic. It’s well stocked. Even the dishes are pretty We used the kayak. Read on the dock, enjoyed the views. The nearby town of Sparta has a great coffee shop and Brother’s Tavern. Several state parks are nearby and we hiked in each one. We’d love to return someday. The only small things we’d change: more light over the bathroom sinks, the folding sides on the antique dining table need extra support and the outdoor areas could use a power wash and some cushions cleaned or replaced (humidity, rain and shade are a constant challenge to outdoor spaces.) Still, it’s an easy five star favorite!!

My wife and stayed here with our two young children for the weekend. The property is secluded and relaxing but close to everything that the area has to offer from hiking to restaurants in Monteagle or Sewanee. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The weather wasn’t great the weekend we were there so we didn’t get to take full advantage of the property as there is great outdoor seating and a fire pit. Overall it was a great stay.

Wonderful cabin in the woods, you get the feeling of being secluded with the serene surroundings and nature. Lots of wildlife to see, and the porch sitting was the best!

This is THE place to be. It’s very close to local scenery and it’s perfect for a large group of friends. The neighborhood is quiet and the houses are far enough apart. We will definitely coming back! Everything in this house works well, nothing is broken and all the instructions we needed were clearly stated. It’s perfect! Definitely stay here if you can. If you’re on the fence about booking this place, THIS is your sign to go ahead and do it!

We had a wonderful stay with our young kids at the White Deer Lodge. The cabin is so comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. The cabin is well situated to hiking trails and swimming holes too. Plenty of restaurant options close by - love the Mountain Goat Market right down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Absolutely loved the cabin!! Beautiful views from the decks!! We got to do a little night fishing as well as daytime fishing. Brooke responded quickly and was very helpful with instructions finding the cabin!! We will definitely be back for more fishing adventures! We would have definitely used the kayaks if the water levels had been a little higher and if it wouldn’t have rained so much!

This was our second time staying here. The home is so beautiful, well appointed and the views are glorious. Having the gated neighborhood is an added bonus.

The cabin and the area around are so peaceful, and felt nostalgic. We had a great time at the cabin and will definitely be returning!
