Amazing house , spotlessly clean with everything thing you might want in an Airbnb in terms of kitchen, TV, WiFi. Very quiet at night with shutters that come down electronically. The host was very responsive in answering questions. Not much locally in the area , apart from a nice bakery. Arras centre is about 10 min drive away overall we really loved the trip and the Airbnb.

What an absolutely stunning place to stay! Wish we could have stayed longer than the one night. Vivien was a great communicator and even showed us around the workings of the mill which was so interesting. It is obvious he takes great pride in his water mill and we would definitely like to return but for longer next time. The accomodation was great! The location was fantastic, peaceful and quiet. The sound of the running water was so relaxing! Thank you for a lovely stay. My friend says she wants to live there! I hope you enjoyed the sourdough bread I made for you! Thank you Vivien xx

A real slice of heaven hidden! Spacious accommodation, quiet area, easily accessible thanks to the motor boat left available. Very welcoming and friendly hosts! No complaints, the description is accurate to what you can find on site. To summarize: Great!

We had the best time there over New years Eve! especially with our dog,. who is scared of fireworks! There were none there, had the best NYE in a long time! Also the house is even prettier than in the photos and we loved the 4 bathrooms! we very much enjoyed the fireplace and just the quiet. thank you again!

Stay from 10 to 15 March 1 person with dog. Special environment: watercourses (canals) with walking path along the water, only hikers and cyclists allowed. Accommodation: renovated house, kitchen equipment very complete. Quite spacious for 2 people. Large fully enclosed garden. 3 Bikes, 1 kayak, 2 whales (there is fish!) dartboard outside. Tilques is a tiny village. In Saint Omer at 6km there are shops and a big Aldi supermarket. Sabine and Jean François are very attentive and bring luggage with a boat to the house. My dog-a Flatcoat Retriever- and I really liked it, thanks to Sabine and Jean François.

We spent our 1.5 week summer vacation there and are totally thrilled. For children, there was a lot of toys because there was even a lot of equipment for the beach. The hosts are absolutely lovely and everything went smoothly. The apartment is well equipped, you will find everything you need. Brigitte made a lot of decoration that we liked and gave the apartment a maritime flair. Thanks for the time at your place.

If you don’t stop here you’re missing a real treat We stayed in 5 different places on our way back from Val Thorens and we definitely saved the best for last So peaceful by the canal with the birds singing, the smell of home cooking as you walk in the door, the very warm welcome from Catherine and her lovely family Parking on the premises was perfect for us as we had a car full of ski things Catherine told us about a brewery 2 miles away along the canal It was a beautiful sunny day, we had a couple of pints in a court yard where nobody was on there phone, family’s playing cards and children chatting and playing We walked back, the fire was lit and dinner was ready and all delicious Then we sat in front of the fire for the rest of the evening Just a perfect day You must remember to book a dinner before you go, you don’t want to miss out
