Water is collected from the faucet on the porch. The cabin does not have a bathroom as there is no running water. Outdoor shower on the side of the cabin. Wood-burning stove in the living room and plenty of extra wood in the "woodshed". Garden furniture, gas grill, outdoor fireplace and fire pan outside. Fishing opportunities and great areas for picking berries. This is a cottage with a simple standard for those who love nature and/or want peace and quiet.

The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

We live in one of the houses and also rent out a cabin and the upstairs apartment on AIRBNB. ("Rofshus2" and "Lita cabin in sunny farmhouse") Patio with table, chairs and barbecue. Great view of Totak and the mountains. 5 min to drive to the city centre with shops and driven cross country trails. 10 min to the ski centers. Great WIFI. Great summer hiking opportunities. Charger for electric car 5 min away.

Homely little house in Vrådal

Experience charming Lysli, a cozy house perfectly located along highway 38 in beautiful Vrådal. Here you have hiking trails and ski slopes literally right outside the door and a short way to the area's many attractions. 1 km to Vrådal city center with grocery, cafe, gallery and rental of rowboat, kayak and canoe. 3 km to Vrådal Panorama ski center and 5 km to Vrådal golf course. The house is also perfectly located between east and west for you passing through, but we recommend staying a few days to enjoy the area.

Newer cabin with a great view and nice hiking opportunities

Eel hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden cabin area. There is a small cabin field with a good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities right outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cottage as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic items in kitchen cabinets and there may be items in the fridge with shelf life. A lovely, relaxing holiday in the mountains. Perfekt for x-country skiing and hiking. Great for trips to Gaustatoppen, named the most beautiful mountain in Norway. Three bedrooms. A large, cozy fire place in the living room, and a large terrace for cold beverages and hot cocoa in the sun after some outdoor fun. A nice walk from Tuddal Høyfjellshotel with a great cafe and restaurant. Close to lake perfekt for swimming on hot days.

Sleeps 2 adults, 1 child in travel cot. Convenient location by Totakvannet. Enjoy peace and quiet. High standard. Nature enters the living room. Deer, hares, foxes and deer often pass by. Yoursome life. The cranes have a landing here on their way into their nesting areas. Medieval "prestvegen" goes past the property and can be followed through the forest to Sandane which is the bathing beach with large B. Sun from midday.
