We had an awesome stay at this place. Maryanne was very responsive and helped us with any inquiries. The place exceeded our expectations, we can only recommend it to anyone considering a calm and relaxing stay, surrounded by approachable african wildlife. We couldn't have been happier!

This place is the perfect getaway. It was a memorable stay, and we felt right at home –it was rainy and cold, yet we had everything needed to keep us entertained, warm and comfy. The wild fauna, flora & fungi made it extra special. I would recommend Wilmari's stay as a "rare find" and will certainly want to visit again.

We recently stayed at Waterfall House at Walkersons Estate in Dullstroom, and it was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation was luxurious, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The peaceful setting of the house and estate provided the perfect escape from everyday life. The owners of the house as well as Sylvia, the housekeeper, were incredibly friendly and helpful and ensured our stayed was as untroubled as possible. The estate also offers amenities such as bicycle rentals, hiking, horse riding and even a very relaxing spa. Overall, Waterfall House is a true gem, offering both comfort and relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene getaway!

Beautiful accommodation, the most amazing views, excellent fly fishing. At night we sat by the fireplace drinking wine and playing some of the board games on offer. Will definitely go again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The host, Lafras, was excellent - very friendly but also really discrete. He was very helpful in answering any questions we had or sorting things we needed- nothing was too much trouble. The place has a fabulous view and is very peaceful. Although cold in the evenings due to the time of year, the fireplaces, electric blankets and loads of extra blankets and throws kept us cosy and warm. Our kids really enjoyed feeding the pigs, playing with the friendly dog and riding their bikes down the dirt road. And we had a great horse ride on the neighbouring farm. We would highly recommend the place for families looking for a place to unwind.

We had great weekend away. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was great to have Johanna on hand to do the basic clean up. The walks were enjoyable and birdlife was great as well. The house had basic solar and a gas geyser (update the instructions from the Donkey?) The house at night was cosy in front off the fire and they had hot water bottles on hand for the bedrooms as they were chilly. A small wood burner for the main Bedroom would be an added bonus? All in all a great spot to recharge.

We loved our stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Its a peaceful escape from the town and still close enough to drive to town for lunch. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was comfy and cosy and spotlessly clean. In the cold weather we had a very warm bed with a lovely fireplace in the lounge. Perfect location to walk to the dams for fishing. Our hosts checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay over Easter. The lodge is perfect for people looking to get some peace and quiet in a very well equipped and comfortable house. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen is large with modern appliances (although there is also an intriguing wood/coal burning antique stove which we used) and the ladies that were onsite came in to clean and keep everything neat and tidy but very unobtrusively. Pieter was very helpful and easy to deal with. This place is wonderful if you are a hiker - there are several superb hikes from the lodge - anything from 3km - 15km which showcase the beautiful scenery in this part of the world. Overall, this was a fantastic find and surpassed our expectations.
